Hey Guys,
The purpose of this super(for the most part) is to basically debuff your opponents and shut down their supers. I love the concept and play this class because it is fun, although my Blade Dancer is way more effective.
Lately though I've been getting frustrated when an enemy activates a super, I will preshoot my tether to the wall where they are about to come around the corner, and often times they just walk right through, Hammers or Golden Gun ablazing, completely ignore the tether because it takes SO LONG to activate and keep on trucking.
It's bad enough that I drift forty feet to the side when I try to shoot it, and that the collision detection is the size of a beachball so that when I am trying to fit it into tight spaces it hits a wall that I am not aiming at, could we at least have it do what it is designed to do?

Signed. In the very least, a direct hit on a normal guardian should be an instant kill instead of taking 5 seconds (10+ if My connection is bad) before doing anything.

I would agree the aiming mechanics should be adjusted shouldn't be a handicap to use as opposed to a golden gun wich is shot like every other gun in destiny ik its a bow but there has to be a better way

Signed - A direct hit should cancel a super immidiately. Only way to stop a Sunbreaker unless they nerf that broken ass subclass.

6 RepliesI think its funny you actually think this will achieve anything. It used to insta tether targets back in playtesting. After sufficient testing, it was deemed far too powerful to work like that. This was agreed by many on the test team, with only one individual maintaining it should be instant. Anyway. I digress. Sign all you want. You achieve nothing, other than highlighting your opinion and garnering support. But changes are made due to in game data, not trumped claims from the playerbase. You want it instant? Than you'll have to actively effect the global playerbase and tell all who Main the nighstalker to use shadowshot as often as they can, but to deliberately miss everyone. Good luck with that thankless endeavour

What I do want is the target that is hit with it to be suppressed immediately (not killed, just supressed) and then the Anchor deploying at its normal speed. I don't mind that it won't kill a Stormtranced Warlock or a HoSd Titan, I just want it to pull them out of it the moment they get hit.

Direct hits to guardians should tether immediately. Hits to the wall or floor (unless using the trap perk that lets it wait for targets) should have a slight delay as they do now.

1 ReplyAs far as I'm concerned, it should Tether instantly on direct hits and then take time based on how close the enemy is to the anchor.
