Hunters basically got screwed over in every conceivable way.
Jump ability, Hunters have short hops, Titans and Warlocks FLY higher AND farther.
Mêlée ability, takes on average 2 stabs to the face to down a Titan and you can usually drop a Warlock if he has been previously wounded. Yet, either Titan or Warlock can one shot drop a Hunter with their mêlée.
And supers. Well, I just won't even go down that road. A tether compared to the Hammer of Doom and Emporer Palpatine.
I like Hunters. But, DAMN! They are the "red-headed stepchildren" of Destiny.

1 ReplyMained a hunter all of year one blade dancer was ridiculous I won't lie only class worth using at that point Titans fist was good for one kill warlock was crap they balanced it in taken king gave good supers to warlocks and Titans and I love nightstalker and yea as far as supers go hunters don't have op supers but the ability perks on their classes are amazing and as far as the jump with agility all the way up hunters have the quickest way to jump from one thing or another so I love triple jump it's all a matter of preference

1 ReplyI just responded to a similar post saying Warlocks were the "neglected third child" of Destiny. That poster was wrong. So are you. 1. In PvP, a skilled Hunter can kill up to four other Guardians from halfway across the map with one Super. In a confined area, Arc Blade can shred. They can move fast, blink. go invisible, set deathtraps, throw Seeker grenades, and SHUT DOWN SUPERS. No other class can do the latter. 2. In PvE, a Hunter's invisibility is even more amazing because it is TOTALLY effective. In a fireteam, an invisible Hunter can make Last Guardian Standing into No Big Deal by going inviz and reviving teammates. They can again set traps. They can make their fireteam invisible. And I have persoanlly used Arc Blade to kill nearly three dozen enemies in one activation.

2 RepliesAnd yet you hunters had the most OP supers in Year 1 OH WAIT! You wouldn't know. Please do research next time.

Edited by Bit sad, innit?: 10/25/2015 9:26:29 PMI main a hunter and I don't think we got "shafted". I bet Locks and Titans think they got shafted in other areas as well. We get a perk that shows chest and material location, we get the new Ahamkara grasps, we get the best looking class item, an actual "super stopping" super (Nightstalker), and many more. Love my hunter :D but I gotta show love for the locks and Titans :p

I've played a hunter since Beta and at least once a week (night falls and raids in Tuesday's) every week since destiny dropped. Just recently I started playing a Titan because I wanted to change things up in year two. I was told last night that during the oryx part of the raid hunters couldn't do the jumps so I proved them wrong. I was told hunters can't create the same amount of orbs as the other classes supers and while it is harder to do, it's still doable. If you think the hunters suck or are not as powerful as the other classes then I say you need to spend a lot more time on a hunter or switch classes because you don't understand how a hunter works. The hunter is the only class in destiny that actual takes skill to play.

5 Replies"Hey nightstalker, what grenades do you want?" "I think I want a sticky grenade." "We're out of those... Just take this damage over time pole grenade." "Okay... How about a bolt grenade?" "Uhh... I can give you this fancy damage over time wall grenade." "How about just a suppressor?" "Well, we just have this damage over time orb grenade." "wtf?" "Budget cuts."

Good cause you all are a bunch of whiny kids! Nerf the hammer Nerf the warlock . Get good nub

I don't know what you're talking about. I mained two titans and warlock all of year one. When TTK came out, I killed one of my Titans to start a Hunter. Started out leveling as Bladedancer but then switched to Nightstalker. I LOVE both classes. The Supers are incredibly fun. Bladedancer slaughters, and Nightstalker not only provides support, but does great damage too. I will admit that the hunter jump does suck compared to the Titan's. The Warlocks jump reminds me of the first level of Duck hunt.

Yhhhhh sounds like what titans an warlocks went through before the ttk. Not nice getting wiped by one little -blam!- spaming his r1 button.
jump ability
Mind that Warlocks literally just float horizontally and can easily be sniped out of mid air?
didnt think so
8 RepliesThe ONLY way to stop a Titan when they go "Hammer time" is Shadowshot. I've shot one point blank in the face with "The Next Big Thing" sporting an att of 290, to barely mar the helmets shader. Only to catch a face full of flamming hammer. I've seen Titans shrug off the attack of 3 Guardians going full Rambo on him/her, like they were preschoolers pummeling a rhino. The ONLY way to stop a Warlock when they do their Emporer Palpatine impersonation is Shadowshot. I have emptied a full mag from an att 295 "Dealbreaker", barely ruffling the Warlocks robes. Only to be fried like bacon in an op'd microwave. I've seen Warlocks cook through a full fireteam like a malicious teenage boy using a magnifying glass on ants. You can stop a Hunter with just about anything when they use Shadowshot. I have been punched, grenaded, and had my cranium canoed while in the process of firing my first arrow. Not to mention losing the occasional arrow on a door jam, low hanging crane arm or other randomly placed obstacle.

Titans can one hit hunters with melee??? Apparently I've been using a tan wrong since day one...
