Black Spindle
I had taken a Black Spindle from 300 to 308, and it is now 288. What the actual -blam!-, Bungie? I'd fused raid weapons into it, only to be screwed out of the effort.

4 RepliesI did the same. Just another example of the "take back" attitude running the show these days. 1st a bait and switch with Suros weapons pack preorders. Then the agonarch rune closed down without any word of when it'll return for honest play and then Black spindle. It's not our fault they didn't do enough QC on these issues but we're the ones who get screwed for it. The spindle should have been a "oops our bad, good on you if you got the 310, future drops are now corrected". Not a -blam!- you all, we don't like how you're playing our game so tough shit, we nerfed it for everyone. Too bad that you wasted all those weapons and marks infusing a reprint version to over 300, it's your fault for our giving you the wrong drop.

5 RepliesBungie that was a hard 10 min fight and not everyone can do it! We can get a 310 exotic gun from a three of coin so dropping the attack was a bad idea, period !!!! This was a bad customer service decision on behalf of destiny to go back and lower the attack

11 Replies*sighs some people's children. You got warned when the 310 spindle came out that it wasn't supposed to drop at 310 and would be decreased. You were also told that if you infused it into another special that that special would be untouched. It was mentioned in several locations across the internet: Gamespot, twitter, dev blogs, etc. If you can't be bothered to inform yourself then you're a moron who probably should have gotten more oxygen at birth.

23 RepliesBro, The blackspindle NOT MATTER WHAT WAS GOING TO BE RESET TO 280 ATTACK. EVERYONE OF THE BLACK SPINDLES GOT RESET. The only thing that would work is if you equiped another weapon and infused the blackspindle into it. Then, that weapon would get the attack from the blackspindle and you would be fine. But it did day all blackspindles will be reset no matter what. THIS IS YOUR FAULT, NOT BUNGIES. PAY ATTENTION WHILE READING AND BLAME YOURSELF FOR THIS

1 ReplyIt's ridiculous for them to assume that players are going to be actively monitoring all channels at all times in order to play their game. Do they honestly expect me to go monitor Twitter/Reddit/scour patch notes every time I pick up a new weapon, just to make sure they didn't screw something up that they're going to punish ME for later if I actually decide to use and invest in said weapon? They flat-out handled this wrong. Even IF they expected people to hear about the impending nerf by some outside chance, to wait 4 WEEKS to fix their mistake is inexcusable. It should have been within everyone's rights after 4 WEEKS to assume that Bungie either forgot to "fix" the issue, or didn't have the technical chops (neither is a bad assumption when you consider they made the mistake in the first place). How long is an appropriate time for me to wait and see until I can actually play with and invest in my fun new weapon? 5 weeks? 2 months? I'm not happy at all with how Bungie handled this. I really feel I should get my raid weapon I dismantled returned to me.

They nerfed black spindle to 290 instead of 310, but it looks like it counted on all spindles.

A glitch happened where 310 were lowers to 290 but it affected all 300 attack spindle

2 RepliesFor the work you have to do in order to get the black spindle, the attack power being at 310 made it all worth it in the end. Now that it is 290 the work and the loot do not equal out.

If you knew about the spindle through a friend, I would think they would have heard about the nerf. I'll admit Bungie could have probably stuck something on the start-up screen for Destiny saying "Hey, check (url here) for important news!", then you're told where to find announcements and shit. It'd defo be your own fault at that point. No excuses then.

4 RepliesGuys. They stated before patch to not infuse the black spindle. It was going to get nerfed. They told us this. I did it anyways and got screwed. My fault. Anyone who didn't listen to them can't be that pissed off because of it. A little bit upset is perfectly fair and fine but you can't be outraged. Seriously.

Tell me about I got the 310 and infused it to a 1000 yard stare to get it to 308 then I re-bought the spindle after the update which was 280 and infused it to 304. But if i bought it before the nerf when they sold it at 300 from the kiosk it would have been nerfed to 290 and i would have gotten it to 310 instead of 304 :(

4 RepliesYou're absolutely right. If McDonald's accidentally gave you a large fry instead of a small, they wouldn't show up at your house and demand their fries back. Even worse, this is more like you gave away the extra fries you weren't supposed to get, then made your own fries from scratch, and they came and took those fries away from you. Bad customer service right there.

9 RepliesIt's a POS solution. How was that even CONSIDERED? I'm outraged man. Same issue, fused up the datapad's spindle (in 300) and upped it to 307...now it's 287. How come a hard reset of EVERYONE's is considered a solution? Be warned guardians, this stuff is going to happen more and more often. Bungie deploys a bug to the game, because of a screwup of their devs, and we get proper -blam!-ed.

6 RepliesI feel the nerf shouldn't have even hit people who already had it. Only the new drops and new blueprints. The daily mission was only available twice(?) and many people weren't able to play or get it on those days. TTK hasn't even been out that long. Like the 1st week ghorn almost no one got it.
