I'm personally enjoying it so far. It's a lot more fun without all the Felwinter's and Matadors running around.

Besides the huge chance of getting put in matches where my team is already losing my 10000 points? Then yeah it's pretty enjoyable.

3 RepliesFirst time since vanilla that I've been enjoying it. Whether playing solo show or partied up, it has been a better experience. It is probably due to the fact that last word and thorn are no longer a part of it.

There is hardly a difference with level advantage. I am 308 light and do two more crit damage with a scout to anyone under 290. How is being 20 light higher not an advantage... All that work? I got 3 bursted by a red death with a guy at 274 light. Crucible and iron banner are pretty much the same thing except iron banner is year two weapons only. I remember being level 32 In year one and not being able to kill level 34 people in iron banner. Tell me it's not just me thats disappointed

If drops are supposed to be the primary way to get gear in IB, Bungie might want to think about actually including some.

Would be so much better if 1/2 the games weren't on Black Shield, or whatever map IB matchmaking decides is my favorite for the week.

6 RepliesBeen playing Iron Banner as a Defender Titan and having a lot of fun actually. I love that you get points for supporting other team mates now and putting up a bubble to capture a highly contested zone feels super (ha) satisfying and usually helps tip the game in our favor. Can't tell you how many people try to run into the bubble to kill me like idiots. I know I'd probably get more kills with the OP Sunbreaker and all, but I just really like Defender. Any other Titan bros. out there refusing to use Crutchbreaker?

Im rank 5 on one character, rank 4 or another, and rank 3 on my third. I've got 2 hunter cloaks, a warlock bond, hunter boots, 1 sidearm, and 2 pulse rifles (both with bad rolls). Am I enjoying it? Only to a certain extent. Did I like last IB more? Much more. Why? Because pulse rifle meta is boring as hell (biggest one). I have a million snipers but none with the 3 scopes I like with quickdraw/snapshot (I'm not even asking for hidden hand/LitC etc). I'm rank 24 with vanguard, 23 with dead orbit. 12 with crucible, and I'm STILL getting packages with shotguns. [b]Bungie, if you're reading this: I purposedly don't have a lot of shotguns in my inventory, because I turn them into legendary marks. Smart loot shouldn't be your solution to re-rolling gear.[/b] Rangefinder + Shotpackage + full autos..I've seen them all. My sniper of choice? Nooppeee. My options? Wait. Wait for RNG to bless me, or wait for a Y2 patience and time. Out of the ''new'' map playlist only a few stick out as good: Frontier, Bannerfall, and dreadnaught. I also like the classic maps...and where's the burning shrine at? Seriously, best map ever. Oh, I guess I should also mention that the Pvp vendor pulse is vastly superior to the one IB sells. Well, I guess that's what the community wanted right? But I'll save that speech for another day.

Was yesterday, now I'm losing every f[i]u[/i]cling game thanks to people using shotguns and glitching their supers. Plus I'm put onto losing teams
