Best Primary PVE Weapon?

I haven't got that far in the game (I'm on the last taken war mission in phobos, done a bunch of heroics only one nightfall and no raid yet) but I'm still mainly using my Boolean in PVP and PVE. The timed increased armour buff gets you out of some tight spots and it hits slightly harder than similar scouts like Treads (which I also have and which is great). I have year 2 suros too. I switch between them for PVP and PVE. Year 2 Hawkmoon is in my vault. If I have to use a hand cannon I prefer the Vanity, even though the range is not great firefly clears adds...But I love my Boolean. I have a Not Like Others with bonus damage to minotaurs and a Questing Beast with the same thing for Fallen captains. Just levelled them up and haven't tried them yet but I'm looking forward to punishing precursors and heavy blue shielded dirtbags...er fallen captains for what they've done to me in the past (lol!) I really want The Jade Rabbit..always have

Hawksaw or Zarinea D from hakke. Save your exotic slot for special or heavy.

Shame it doesn't have firefly though :-( I also recently got the marks to buy year two [b]Red Death[/b] - it seems just as good as the year one version but is infusable. After those I'd take any scout rifle that has firefly. I currently have [b]Tuolena SR4[/b] and [b]Not Like the Others[/b] that both have it.

Surprised to see supercede I thought it's aoe was slacking big time. When I see it chain lightning I look at the other enemies and see it hardly so any damage to them

I use Hung Jury in the raid until we get to the daughters and I switch to the touch of malice. To put this into context I have a 310 raid scout rifle, 310 raid hand cannon, 310 Zhalo, and 308 raid pulse rifle.
