DONT SLEEP ON Y1 WEAPONS
I see a lot of people running a lot of the new weapons that are out there, but I'm always the one -blam!-ing them up with my y1 Felwinter's with Shot Package and Knee pads. I always go 2.0+ match when I run that with my y2 Red Death. -blam!-s people up from INSANE distances. Don't be a scrub and sleep on all your y1 weapons.
Edit: It's not my fault that Felwinter has the best range and impact in its class. Get rekt scrub lol
Edit: For everyone saying IB and Trials, are you guys new here? Base stats like the impact and range are still going to -blam!- you up sorely since they're the highest in the game lol

They lower your light which impacts your damage output. Which is not helpful for iron banana

Also if you use weapons with less damage they should(hopefully) do less damage. So your gaywinters will be shit and if anything it will make you use a primary more. Also its people like you who makes crucible not fun

Aw how cute, he uses a Crutchwinters Lie. Good thing Shot Package will be gone from his scrub crutch soon. Not to mention Scrubwinters Lie is utterly useless in IB and ToO unless you get a Y2 version. I wonder what kids like OP will do when they have to used a skill based weapon...

Until level advantages are enabled. Impact and range don't matter when you're at a level disadvantage. Also say goodbye to Shot Package.

I think all y1 weapons should be upgradable to y2 with etheric light but only to double it's damage. So a 170 y1 would be a 240 y2 and it would be infuse-able.

On Ib and Trials the attack value is pretty important! Damage may be the same, but trying to kill a level 300 with a level 170 weapon gives not the same result ...

I have over 40 yr1 guns in my vault. Some of them aren't even raid weapons. They're relics that I can't bring myself to dismantle.

Also don't be afraid of using Monte Carlo year 2! I used to obsess over hand cannons, but the Monte Carlo has increased my k/d tremendously after the hand cannon nerf! Seriously it's the best crucible auto rifle I've used so far. Suros has nothing on Monte Carlo IMO

....no they wont. Immune will probably pop up instead of the 2 damage you think will. If the light level of the gun isnt close to the targets , it does nothing.
