It was said that shotpackage is being removed. I know for a fact I'm not alone with people who re-rolled their shotguns to oblivion to get that perfect roll. Felwinter's Lie: Aggressive Ballistics (To max out impact), Hammerforged (To max out range), Kneepads (I slide shotgun a lot), and finally: Shotpackage. This shotgun was an overlord in the Crucible. I think it took me around 400 re-rolls because the chance of actually obtaining this combination is 1 in 376. It took 400+ motes, more than 4 max glimmer stacks and several hundred weapon parts. Now it's going to be ruined. Just saying Bungie, I worked really hard to get that roll. The amount of materials I spent to get that shotgun took a really long time. NO MATTER how much of a scum you think I am for using a shotgun, I really don't care honestly. You're equally as scum for judging me just for using a shotgun. I play how I want to play. I can say you're scum too for camping 500 feet away with your snipers at a safe distance. But do you see shotgunners ever bully the snipers? Not really. Not ever infact. It's always snipers bullying the shotguns. Dear Bungie, replace shotpackage with rangefinder on all guns. No other perks. Some of the perks you plan to replace shot package with I would never want on my shotgun for it to be perfect. I'm really disappointed with the loss of my perfect roll and hundreds of materials taking hundreds of hours to get, so please at least give me Rangefinder so I can consider it to be perfect again. If it's plagued by some random terrible perk then all my re-rolls went toward nothing. I'll just have to reforge it again. :( Edit: this isn't the hopscotch pilgrim treatment. It's worse. It's the equivalent of having a hopscotch pilgrim which takes 400 motes, 4 max glimmer stacks and 25*4 weapon parts to fully upgrade. Then it's ruined. I have a legitimate complaint as a paying customer for losing hundreds of hours of work but the only thing people in the forum are concerned with is the fact I use a shotgun with a crucible-perfect roll and spent so many hours getting that roll. Now that roll with shotpackage is being deleted and I'm getting perks I don't want on it. I just want Rangefinder, the closest similar perk. That way it can be perfect. But I'm a scum as people would classify me as just for being intelligent in my choice of roll for Crucible. If you're mad, it's because you're a -blam!-ing idiot who doesn't have a morsel of empathy and just thinks about yourself and how much you're shit on by this roll. Regardless what you think, I don't care. I'll still be upset as a paying customer but not because of you idiots, because of Bungie, and I doubt they'll do anything but it's my incentive to attempt to tell Bungie why I'm upset so they don't make future mistakes and hopefully rectify this one before tomorrow.[/spoiler]
