You never even have to step foot in the raid. And yes I beat hard mode without it. I actually only started my hunt for the fragments after I beat Oryx on hard. I do however have it now for next time =) Edit: my bad everyone, I was thinking of only the hard mode lol Yes I know you have had to beat the normal raid at least once to get the weapon.

1 ReplyFor whatever it's worth, having TOM on your account doesn't mean YOU beat the raid. I have experienced a few younger players who's older brother, father, or even a friend, had beaten the raid on their account. But generally I would say having TOM means you've beaten normal.

2 RepliesIt really doesn't tho. Played with a kid the other day who knew what to do all way to sisters and oryx. Caused many wipes on sisters cause he didn't know which one to slam or how to jump for relics. Same for oryx, didn't know the mechanics. However he had touch of malice.
