They showed gameplay of the sleeper not very long before ttk, and showed its perks. Not to mention, Banshee 44 nearly outright says there is more to it, talks about a warmind on venus, and the caption on the weapon says "midnight exigent:not complete" or something like that. Plus, just look at it, it still looks incomplete, like the frame of a weapon.

Yes we know they showed the weapon and showcased it's perks but not once did they say the weapon would be upgraded later or did they say it would ever do a 5 round burst.
-
You're correct about 5 round burst I believe. But why would they tell us it would upgrade later? They also told us this weapon would take the community to figure out how to get, yet they just handed the quest to everyone, and it as easy as hell.
-
They mislead the community, it didn't require the help of others as much as they lead us to believe: the missions were soloable, the collecting the relics simple, the warsat and such might have been what they meant by community since it used terms such as Tera and Luna which not many people understand. They never told us it would be upgradable but that it was a powerful weapon and it really is powerful but people look at the ammo capacity and cringe.

Yes, nothing very specific or extraordinary in the slightest is required for obtaining it. Noobs could literally stumble into the steps. Kinda sad. I'm still not sure it's all too powerful. Doesn't seem to have the killing potential of a rocket. Your enemies would have to be in a single file line (pretty much) just to get multiple kills. I tested on 240 light knight majors, and it took multiple precision shots to kill them. Gjallorhorn would have easily one shotted them and killed multiple enemies in the area. Even a legendary rocket would do better. A year 2 truth leaves most majors dead, or with a sliver of life left, and carries 8 with rocket ammo increase. Overhyped imo. Kinda fun in pvp though.
