The "Am I Raid-ready?" Thread
For all the Guardians who are unsure about their light-level being high enough, or gear being good enough to beat the raid.
Hopefully, other, experienced players can judge you guys.
Let's start with my Titan. It's a Bubble Titan and I just reached lvl 290. If i change my secondary to a sniper and my heavy to something else than sword, i won't reach 290. so that's a problem i guess.

6 RepliesI'm at light level 296. A warlock. I have three decent Scout Rifles. The black spindle (310) and a 300 shotgun and I have the Sleeper Simulant and a 296 rocket launcher (void) Can I assume I'd now be a valued member of a raid team?

I beat the warpriest my first time after 3-4 wipes. I was 290 with an auto rifle, shotgun and machine gun. The highest level was probably like a 297. We had no problem. Just know what you're doing and you'll be fine

Honestly gear isn't as important as knowing the mechanics. Watch some YouTube videos to get a feel for mechanics and hopefully you have some players with experience in the raid. A few Touch of Malice's always helps too

Raid ready? It's more like brush up on Kings Fall then be ready. Low light level isnt just the factor, its knowing what you do on parts. Be as high as 300 light but if you die a lot just means you don't know what your doing.

My Titan is 298 but I need help getting through for the first time if someone is willing? I've beaten Crota and vog several times.

Here's the basic rundown: You can do parts of the raid with lower light however you NEED a high impact sniper for Warpriest, Golgo, Daughters and Oryx. I would suggest 295+ for oryx but not necessary. Just harder to stagger him without higher light and DPS guardians. Not impossible just frustrating to learn with that many wipes.
