Might as well start farming and exploiting to get gear and levels..
As lagit play will no longer matter.
That's how I feel.

For years, the slang term for "cash shop" or any other function that adds items available for purchase without playing the game and unlocking it- has been dubbed "pay to win"
In other words.. micro transactions , cash shop, [made up currency] - store is the same as "pay to win"
Can argue amongst yourselfs with the definition of pay to win.
(Not to be confused with pay to play)
And yes. Obtaining a dance emotion is winning an item. May not make you stronger- but it adds to the game play experience.
If they want to make it so you have to complete a quest or something before you can buy the stuff.. that's different. .
Nerd fight! !!
That is all.

6 RepliesOkay fvcking brainless moron, tell me, how in the hell are EMOTS gamebreaking? No really, i am dying to know.
-
1 ReplyWhat is this "lagit" you speak of?
-
2 RepliesCan't wait for play to win. I got plenty money. GG broke bitches.

7 RepliesI somewhat agree with you. I hate pay to win type games but the emotes are 100% optional. And bungie is giving everyone enough silver to buy an emote or two without paying anything. Additionally if you actually read the bungie post about the new micro transactions you'd have ready that all profits go towards releasing new free content in year two. So it has its place. Don't support it if you don't want to. I probably won't either. But as far as paying goes it has a good motive and unlike most other pay games where you can eventually work hard enough to get the paid item you cannot get emotes without paying.

2 RepliesEdited by Iso Blood: 10/7/2015 7:59:03 PMHey... I need a magnifying glass to see your metal score. Please don't tell me that it's pay to win when you don't play pvp and barely play pve. For you you don't win anyways. You haven't even completed a raid for crying out loud!
-
Yeah, these special dance animations are too game-breaking! Bungie really sold out this time!

4 RepliesEmotes don't constitute pay to win. I'm reasonably sure that no matter how you dance or point at Oryx he'll still murder your face off.
-
8 RepliesSo what you're saying is that buying the collectors edition or 20 for the stand alone items is different than buying them in game for money? Your logic is way flawed. The only pay to win games I know of on any platform are Mobil free to play games. None of the console micro trans offer anything different than what u can already get with special edition versions of said game. You're weird, you're salty, you're wrong, and an attention whore.

You are little the dumbest person. If it doesn't force you to buy a god weapon or God gear to get through the game or make you 320 light then WHO CARES? What, because you don't have 5 bucks to buy an emote if you want one all of a sudden it's a bad thing?
-
Lol love how I've been a jobless bum for the entire time this game is out and now as soon as I have to start working again they do this. I support it, because either you pay with money or pay with time. It's fair, I can't keep up with everyone when I'm working 16+ hour days.

You must live a miserable life. Last time i played, dancing didn't help kill warpriest or win a crucible match.

3 RepliesIt helps to have sources... http://kotaku.com/sources-destiny-will-get-paid-cosmetic-dlc-and-free-ne-1734800399?utm_campaign=Socialflow_Kotaku_Facebook&utm_source=Kotaku_Facebook&utm_medium=Socialflow Destiny is getting microtransactions, sources tell us. Don’t freak out too much, though: We hear this paid DLC will be limited to cosmetic items like emotes and sparrow skins. And the developers at Bungie will be doling out free story content every few months until next fall. This is all part of a new plan that could start as early as this month, according to two people familiar with Destiny’s development. Rather than sell big expansion packs like they did last year, Bungie is planning on giving out quests and missions for free, sources say. This will likely involve big drops every few months until the fall of 2016 but could also include trickles of smaller stuff throughout the year. That means the game’s next paid expansion will be Destiny 2 in the fall of 2016, as has been known for a while now. That’ll be $60.

2 RepliesHow does one become lagit?
-
2 RepliesYou have no clue what pay to win means. Pay to win is stuff that makes you tougher and improves your characters abilities. Sparrow skins and emotes don't do that
-
1 ReplyAhh yes you wait till i have some sweet sexy dance moves. Then you are really going down
-
1 ReplyBut it's not

6 RepliesStop complaining we get free dlcs

Yes because moonwalking is the only thing that will get me through Kings fall hard mode. Oryx better be prepared to get served.

1 ReplySince when do emotes and skins raise your light level and give you an unfair advantage? Unless I can break dance as an emote, there is no pay to win here.
-
You, guardian, are retarded. Like, legitimately mentally handicapped. Muted.

2 RepliesNothing you pay for has any impact on gameplay just cosmetics
