So can we stop these micro transactions from happening? I know that lots of you are thinking "whatever it's not affecting anyone" but your wrong. This is only the beginning. This is exactly what happened to cod. They stated off with these little things like weapon skins and player skins and now look, they have these weapons that are practically 10 dollars because their drop rates are stupidly low and these aren't just cool looking weapons. Most of them are the best in their class. If you don't decide to listen then fine but DO NOT come complaining when they do to this game what they are doing to cod. A simple sign will do but feel free to post your thoughts and opinions I accept all criticism and am willing to listen to both sides of the arguments. Edit: lots of people seem to be missing the whole point of this thread. I'm not trying to down on bungie or anything, heck I even encourage cosmetic stuff. I mean new shaders and emotes? Hell yeah! But I really can't trust activision after seeing how successful their system is for cod, and they are doing it the exact same way they did it back when cod bo 2 came out. Every one saw weapon camos and they were all really happy, then advanced warfare came out and they now have all the best weapons that are next to impossible to obtain without spending 10$ on them. But it's ok because the said FREE on the ads. I already know that most people ignorance will blind them and to those people I say one day u might understand. More edits: Same developers buddy... And they wouldn't be the same game... They aren't trying to compete they are Trying to get as many different people as they can because call of duty can only reach so far. The reason why I used call of duty as an example is because it's activision and I was showing you how clever they are with they way they made people spend more money for pay to win with less complaints.. I'll enlighten everyone when I have the time to re-do all the calculations write it all down. I'm doing something arm so it will be a second (the first bit is meant for a specific person, he knows who he is). Lol that was a big paragraph, but it's true. I have decided to show the other side of this argument because it's really not fair to dismiss the other half. So on the flip side to my point lets say activision/bungie sticks to their word and they keep it free and they actually put it toward free better quality than we got last year dlc. Well judging on all the false promises we got from year one I personally wouldn't bet on it but hey I still believe there is some good I'm bungie and this if done in a really ideal way could be awesome! But judging on the fact they wouldn't need to put effort in the dlc since it would be free I don't see it being worth while. But this is my opinion. I would rather get more content like TTK for 20 dollars instead of sub-par dlc but this is still a gamble either way... We can't predict the future but we can make an educated guess to try and prevent bad things from happening. So if you are for what they are trying to do with the high risk of pay to win being implemented(not 100% fact but high chance) please type "Alt Signed" and please respect each other as guardians!
