Most difficult exotic to obtain (through quest)
Poll speaks for itself. Personally I'd say chaperone, but Thorn was annoying as well in year 1 as a titan. Black Spindle wasn't too bad with proper loadouts. Waiting for armsday to do the final sword strike, doesn't look too bad.

Feel free to comment on why you think it's the most difficult. Would be nice to see if people are focusing on the same things.

Seems like a lot of people are listing the grindy quests. Is it the grind or the actual fights that make it hard?

I don't think Sleeper Simulant needs to be on the list because we have no idea how to get it. I'm sure it's tied to Gunsmith, but we don't know how. Difficult to judge it before we get it or understand the nuances of the quest. My guess is fusion rifle kills in crucible will be part of it.

My last game was with Touch of Malice... I just I feel so attached to this gun because it feels like TLW for me... Idk why but it feels so right in my hands... I carried my team so hard.

6 RepliesThe touch of malice does not deserve 1st place as it is now. It is only hard if you have little time to play or if you're excluded from the raid. I think the first curse handcannon should be in the list.

I think ToM was fairly easy, time consuming but pretty easy. I guess the hard part for people would be getting that part from Oryx but even then you could just find a decent team on here and hope to finish.

Most difficult? For me it was Thorn because I suck at PvP. I still don't know how I was able to get all those void kills...

1 ReplyFor people who didn't rank up factions, grinding 25 faction rep levels is a tad absurd. I went to 3/5 with all of then year one and maybe breached 8 before I stopped playing. (Post db pre how) I'm level 10 now, and at the current rate, will take something like 9 months to hit 25. Spindle was difficult, but required a certain strategy. (My teams strat was blessing of light and swords) Hardcore faction rep grind for long term is gonna be lame.
