[b]Okay, I'm editing this in! We are currently looking to recruit a lot of PvP players! Keep reading if you're interested.[/b] This is an ambitious project of sorts, so let's get to it. Are you looking for people that make you laugh, but can still play the game well? Are you looking for people that can kick ass in the most unusual ways? Are you sick of people being unable to play the objectives in PvP? Does the idea of playing to have fun AND win sound like an achievable thing to you? Do you like coordinating with people via mic but have issues finding people? Do you want to find an active group that you can hang out with that treats you kindly and with respect? Do you find the Sun to be grossly incandescent? If you answered "Yes" to any of the questions, then this is the group/clan for you! If you answered "No", well...this may [i]still[/i] be the clan for you :D The Sunlight Overlords are all about a few things: 1. Praise the Sun. pls 2. Kindness. I am hoping to attract the people that treat others kindly and are always willing to lend a hand, especially in PvE. Respect is a a [i]must[/i] in this Clan/Group. 3. Relaxed environments (for the most part). I am striving to make sure we can always be enjoying what we are doing and realizing that if at any point, something isn't fun, we shouldn't be doing it! It's a game, after all. However, "relaxed" doesn't mean that when we have plans we don't follow them. Just wanted to specify that. 4. (and perhaps one of the largest reasons I made this group): PvP! And also, sometime in the future, when we get a large team going- [b] PVP Rift. I will elaborate on this in more detail later. [/b] 5. Consistent Raid/Nightfall/Heroic teams. Tired of having to hire someone new or bug a friend that's already done it? So am I. :P I am hoping to coordinate teams and post times when members are online, plan to be, etc. 6. Goofy things! From running around with just sword hilts to spamming 6 bubbles in PVP, the Sunlight Overlords wanna do stupid things and perhaps even still win when it comes to PVP. Guess you would call it "style" and less "goofy" when you win with it, haha. Requirements to join: 1. You must be 15 or older to join. 2. I would strongly prefer that you have a mic when playing. More coordination, we get to know you better, and we'll hear more jokes ^^ 3. This clan plans to do both PVP and PVE, with more details to follow. So you can join based on either one you want to do, just specify if you want to do one, the other, or both. On PvP- I am willing to do all manner of things in PvP, but I want the greatest focus to be on the new game type [i]Rift[/i]. This game type is ridiculously fun and stylish once you have a team that knows what they are doing. I plan to have organized teams, perhaps with more specific roles. Depending on how many people we get recruited, I can go into more detail, but I'm thinking simple things like "2 stay back to defend the base, 2 runners, 2 guards", etc. Just a rough idea there, atm... That being said, I also wanted to say that I really want to be able to do Crucible more successfully, as a team. Sure, you can win alone, but it just doesn't feel as satisfying when you've got no one to talk to or rejoice with :P Anything from TDM to Salvage, as long as you can play the objective, we can kick some ass. On PvE- While I do not have set times set yet, I could set some up depending on member's schedules. One thing I want to say is this- do not come asking for help here if you are severely under light level for what you are trying to do (like 260 for a 290 light thing, etc), instead you could come here and ask for help on something to level you up. We're here to help, not to do all the work. I am still learning the raid, but once I learn it (and if enough join, I might not even be needed on the raid), I can set up times to run the raid each week with people, just post if you'll be able to do it, etc. Before I end this introduction, I wanted to say that this is all a trial run of sorts. I am very new to this kind of thing, and it may seem unorganized at first, but I will get the hang of it as we progress.
