You never met the requirement for the Shield of Mythic emblem.
You had to be a Mythic Member on the old bungie.net forums. You were a Honorable Member.

As mentioned above, you had to be a Mythic member on the old bungie.net forums. How exactly this rank was obtained is shrouded in mystery, but it is said that you had to be an very active and clean member for a long period of time. Since Bungie moved from the old forums to the new one's here, you cannot obtain that rank anymore, and thus not obtain the emblem.
