I'm having the exact same issue on Ps4. No idea what it is, rest of the internet works fine.
-
You gotta admit; if everyone has the same errors residential or campus related, its probably your fault not ours. I dont enjoy resetting my router multiple times a day WHILE unplugging and replugging my wired connection. Get you *bleep* together.
-
Hey i keep getting this code too. I use my university's internet with an ethernet. Theres no way i can reset the router and am stuck. Please help me, I've been locked out for 3 days. Im on ps3 btw

If you are playing on a college or university network you may need to contact your campus IT department to make sure that they aren't blocking the traffic required to play Destiny. If you need help with this process or your campus IT department can't resolve the issue without more information, please send me a private message and we can try to work with your IT department to get this resolved.

Is there anyway you can work with my ip maybe to get the mater resolved

Edited by BNGHelp2: 10/2/2015 7:17:45 PMHi JAKKHAMMER87, Marionberry errors often indicate that your data is not able to navigate the correct routes across the internet to reach Bungie's services. This can be due to a variety of reasons including old cached data about these routes. Some players have reported that they are able to resolve this issue by manually setting the DNS settings on their router or console to use a public set of DNS servers (like OpenDNS or Google DNS), instead of using the default DNS servers provided automatically by your ISP.
-
Yea I've tried the dns settings on router and console. Google and open. And I use to be able to play all the time. Are you guys going to fix this or what? Or am I out $80?
-
Please tell me exactly what step gives you the Marionberry error? Does it happen when you log in at the main launch screen? When you select a character? When joining an activity? This will help me troubleshoot your issue further.
-
Then gives marionberry code
-
Main screen. Says connecting but thts it. Doesn't sign in
-
You may want to try a cold-reboot of ALL networking hardware in your home. Unplug the power on any network devices, including your modem, router, and console, for at least 60 seconds then plug them back in.
-
Really? Let me try....... Nope didn't work ok. Any real suggestions?
-
I have the same problem i uninstalled my game and i am instaling it again hopefully that will help but if not i will make a new thread

I've had the same issue since about Tuesday however I'm using PS4. Is there an issue with PS4 and the marionberry error? I've used both LAN and WiFi connections off my Belkin router but still receiving the error. I've followed the sony steps for the fix I've even tried portforwarding but still nothing. I can't get around this error. NEED HELP! From a frustrated player Blacktide24.

Thanks for the respose, unfortunately changing the DNS on either my router or PS4 did not work. I used google's primary 8 8 8 8 and secondary 8 8 4 4. A new router didnt work and contacting my ISP didnt either, the only piece of equipment i have not changed is my PoE switch box, could this possibly be a cause for this marionberry error? Im at a loss as to why I can not connect to Bungies servers. Im drawing at straws now, im going to see if my PS4 works at a friends house with his ISP.... Still frustrated Blacktide24.

Im finally back in!! I dont know what you did Bungie, but I was able to sign in right now, there was a quick update/download and now Im at the Tower. It would be nice to know what happened but all that matters is that I can enjoy playing Destiny again. THANK YOU!... now a relieved and happy player Blacktide24.
