Losing strike streak??!!
So i am in 41 level strikes. Got a nice 5 strike run streak going. We get to shield brothers. Both guys back out. So what i have to sit here and wait for two more guys to join? This is crap. I lose my strike streak ( not sure how much it effects drop rate as bungie has not said anything regarding the matter).
But thats not the point. Even if its a super small drop rate increase i have earned it by staying in the strike playlist. Something needs to be done. Like if i back out now and start a new strike i get to carry my streak with me. Only this circumstance would carrying the strike streak with be allowed. What do you guys think? I am not doing these strikes for nothing. I want loot. And anything that raises the chances of getting loot i want. Somehow this needs to be addressed.
And does anyone know if the strike streak stacks after continued strikes?

unfortunately you would lose your streak. Happens to me, with people leaving with me having like a 6 or 7 streak going. This will hopefully be addressed next patch.

I guess they could just right a line of code to say if your in a strike and two player leave the third can leave and carry the streak? That would work. Oh well. Just another thing against destiny. I used to really like this game. But slowly its losing its appeal.

I totally think the streak should stay with you even if you go to the tower or reef but I think it should go away after you start a different activity cause I hate just sitting in the playlist and not being able to leave unless I just wanna stand there in the game for awhile But Idk about for when teammates leave that's kinda tricky cause they're supposed to give you more teammates but I never get any lol

I agree with you although I don't know what the solution would be. We need a strike mercy or something. Far too often I end up in a straight and one or two people leave or get to the end and someone afk'ing. I'd rather quit the strike (and I have) than give rewards to an afk'er
