You people arguing about GG vs hammers are idiots

I've been seeing this argument lately, if it's even worthy of that title. " if GG has 3 shots then Titans should only get 3 hammers! " Stupid... Stupid thing to say - hammers do not have good aim assist, even the tracking perk doesn't make then track that much - GG has the highest aim assist in the game -hammers travel in an arc like motion so you have to account for it over a range - GG fires in a straight line, even at range -hammers drain your super -GG shots do not drain your super -sunbreakers have minimal damage resistance during their super, ( edit: ok fine, it's not minimal, but Titans are slow compared to other classes, especially when in supered, there are counters that u have listed below) -gunslingers have no damage resistance -Titans are much slower than hunters, which would account for the damage resistance -hunters are much more agile than Titans, which would account for no damage resistance I guarantee you will say "but your highest level character is a titan" this is because I was most excited for the new subclass pre TTK. I have the most time played on my hunter, primarily the gunslinger subclass. ^ so don't use that argument because you are making yourself look stupid. If you disagree, explain why EDIT: Titans have damage resistance because they are slower than other classes. EDIT 2: ways to counter a sunbreaker super - get in close with a shotty and melee, hide around a corner and suprise them - outrun them, Titans are slow compared to the other classes - counter with your own super - take out from range, jump around so they have to re adjust their aim because hammers have an arc when thrown -suppressor grenades EDIT 3: [b]IMPORTANT[/b] I know Titans are the fastest class generally, but I'm talking about while the super is activated. I have never seen a titan skate with their super active EDIT 4: okay, this is where we are at. The hammer spam glitch needs to be fixed and the sunbreaker needs a tad less damage resistance, ex: can be killed by a high impact sniper or GG shot. No Logical reason to nerf the hammers or how many you have, just a change in damage resistance. Thoughts on that so far?

    • Dude titans are the fastest class ROFLMAOOOO Also anyone who says the hammers are hard to aim is crazy. Minimal damage resistance lol. Shotgun melee will not kill a Titan sunbreaker, and if you can get close enough to shotgun melee that Titan is doing it wrong.

              • Ya but you get 5-7 kills with it every time (unless you suck) hunters get 3-4 kills depending on skill and armour

                          • Sunbreaker needs toned down just a notch in my opinion. This is based off how it compares to supers across the board. Last night I was playing on crucible weekly, wrecking kids. I hear an opposing Titan trigger his hammer, and I ran like a wuss! Though this was before I learned that void bow cancels it, just like Titans can cancel a gg. Though seems I need a super as a hunter. That all beside the point, I've used the hammer in crucible, I feel like a god. It's way OP.

They don't need aim assist and they have AOE radius explosion naturally. Argument debunked. 2. So what? This point has no use whatsoever. GG is a straight line and one arcs. Woop dee doo. If you can't figure out an arc range, have you ever tossed a grenade? 3. Hammers drain your super... and if you don't throw any, the damn thing lasts for like 20 seconds. GG doesn't last that long and we have limited shots regardless. Argument is bad. New one please 4. Mimimal? The hell are you smoking. They get the same if not more then other mobile supers and they also have oversheild potential AND heal on kills. Gunslingers OP though right? 5. Better control jump, or what is known as "titan skating" can get titans around a map way faster then any hunter. Try youtubing it bro. Ill wait. Jesus you are biased as hell. Just stop. The class has imbalances In its super compared to OTHER supers like it. That's a fact. Is the entire class OP? No. I don't believe it is myself but the super clearly is a step above other mobile ones. This isnt arguable really.

                              1. Titans are still the fastest class. 2. They have the highest damage resistance 3. They have the highest kill potential ... Wait how isn't that more powerful than GG? Edit: in response to edit 2... 1. Shotgun melee doesn't kill a sunbreaker 2. Titans can outrun any class they are the fastest 3. Hammer of sol outclasses every other super except for FoH and void bow... 4. Any half intelligent Titan won't try to engage you on a long range... And anyways most maps are CQC in the first place

                                Titans are not slower than other classes. Agility doesn't affect sprint speed. Skating is fast. Gunslingers move at normal speed. Heck, even bladedancers move at normal speed until they burn their super to slash repeatedly. Until hunters get increased speed during their super and Warlocks get increased health recovery, there's no point bitching about how titans are meant to be the tank class. Also, if the 3rd highest base damage resist super in the game has "minimal" damage resistance, what do the other supers with lower damage resist have? Negative damage resist?

Let's make a list of which they can survive that nothing else can: - GG shot - High Impact Sniper headshot - Three sword slashes - Two shits from a shotgun at close range I can think of others but I'm not bothered Sunbreaker [b][i][u]IS[/u][/i][/b] overpowered. Remove the damage resistance and tone down the proximity and then it's balanced.

                                      • Excuse me for this since I've never actually done number crunching... but the Agility stat. Does it really count for anything? I've spec'd my Gunslinger for Agility a few times and never really noticed a huge difference in speed, except for when I had MIDA the Hedgehog equipped.
