Just turn off your console if you can't consistently make a few simple jumps. There's no excuse.
Edit for clarification: I'm not taking about people who miss every once in a while. I'm taking about the people who miss, jump back up, then miss again. They should not be raiding.

I agree with op. It sucks being one run away from killing the last sister when the runner turns into someone who always falls. It's frustrating having to start all over cause someone can't jump. They always make excuses too.

The only problem I have is where its the turn on the plates going from back plates to front plates platform on my Hunter, its lengthy but I've almost never fallen. Only once I believe, but doing it on my Titan was much easier lol

It's goddamn jumping people, you've had to do it for the past year on this game, so this should be easy as pie for everyone. If you are so bad at it that you're wasting hours of other peoples' time, please just admit that you suck and leave. I could maybe understand people having this issue during the first two weeks of the raid, but it's still a f*cking problem. Learn it and stop making excuses. I'll never understand why people who cannot play a simple video game try so hard to justify their performances. YOU ARE BAD. Embarrassingly bad. Deal with it. Don't like being made fun of? Tough sh*t. You people make no effort to improve when you f*ck up, and never apologize after making everyone else on the raid team lose their patience. It's your fault, not theirs. We have a guy who raids with us who is notoriously bad at jumping, since VoG. We all found it funny watching him fail. Now he's better but he will forever get "Oh God" when he gets runner.

I have no problem with any of the raid jumping puzzles/platforms on my Warlock or my Hunter, the daughters part however does trip me up on my Titan; I don't play that character much so if I'm torn during the daughters fight, I usually just find the first ledge near me and base jump off the side. If I played with randoms I wouldn't do this but with a clan/friends that I know will have no problem 5 manning it for 30 seconds or so, it's not a big deal.

Runner is easy. Just got to make sure you don't overshoot it (why the hell do the raid boots give increased agility w/Torn anyway?).

If it's that frustrating, go to orbit and find a new group. Plenty of try hard douches around for you to team up with. Lpt - you make the choice to stick around when people don't meet your expectations. As with everything else in life you need to know when to cut your losses.

5 RepliesI think being the runner is well easy i love being the runner when i go to do oryx i always have to be the one who does the runner for oryx because thats my thing its easy in my opinion PS im 306+ light i have done the raid 10x from fresh and beaten oryx. Before you say im lying well im not thats your choice if you believe me or not. I am very experienced and i only play with experienced players or only add experienced players. #NO-AMATURES! <3

4 RepliesYou think that is frustrating. I was doing a raid earlier and there was one guy who just couldn't make the jump on the ships after you have to duck for the troll ship. We waited for over half an hour as he tried and tried but failed every time and eventually quit out from frustration. Admittedly he was on a hunter and that jump can be a bitch if you can't get your timing down but it was seriously one of the worst jumping performances that I have ever witnessed.

2 Replies-blam!- mario i hated that game. Yes i was that guy that couldn't make those jumps in the raid. But the whole time i was failing i was actually practicing. Now because of those failed jumps i now ace the jumping part at the daughters. My best advice to folks is practice the jumping part, don't worry about wiping. Eventually you will get the pattern and feel more confident. -blam!- mario i hated that game.

2 RepliesMaybe it's because of people like you laying unnecessary pressure on them, that they feel they can't make the jumps under that unnecessary pressure? I agree it can be frustrating when someone keeps fluffing it but you gotta be a bit more understanding. I know we all choose to spend our spare time on this game, and it blows when you achieve nothing for a while because of someone who isn't quite confident/good enough. But you gotta let them have their fun too. If someone ever left as they felt they were letting the team down, I would take that as a bad sign for how the rest of the team were making them feel and I'd feel pretty crap. Peeps are still learning. Cut them send slack.

It's even worse when they cant jump on the plates to activate them. I just boot them if they mess up more than once. We will do callouts for who gets on the platform so nobody can mess up, but there is always the one guy who can't even jump up on it.
