Why does everybody think there will be a destiny 2 :/
I'm pretty sure we just had the 2.0 update and I'm 100% sure bungie hasn't mentioned anything at all about a "destiny 2" so why is everyone taking all these rumours as the gospel.
You can say all you want about the 10 year contract leak and this whole "3 dlc's before each game" etc but at the end of the day, bungie haven't confirmed anything themselves. And lettuce be cereal... How are they going to have time to make a whole new game every couple years while simultaneously producing multiple expansions every year LOL
Edit: going to bump this thread next year and lol hard at all the sheep who thought there would be a destiny 2.

10 year plan is for the devolpers not the game. They can stop destiny after the 5th cabal dlc and make whatever game they want.

I personally haven't heard anything about it but I would not be surprised as the current story is limited. Bungie would have learnt a great deal from Destiny and would probably wish to put a great many things in place but would be restricted by the current game.

Can't remember what streamer it was but they said when they went to bungie for ttk live stream there was a area that was locked off. Deej said they are currently working on destiny 2 so I'm pretty sure it's coming.

So far the DLC/forced updates are making money. Until I see actual game footage labeled from Bungie as Destiny 2 I won't believe they're working on it.

There is no such thing as Destiny 2, just Destiny.. I'm pretty sure Bungie will keep expanding it year by year.

If you do a bit of searching you'll actually find Bungie announced back in November 2014 that the sequel was already in the works.

Because it was announced that development had begun on it shortly after Destiny 1 was released. Oh and also the whole contract between bungie and activision for 10 years. But you could totally be right. I could def see bungie throwing destiny out the window and starting over with a new IP next year. Fo sho.
