Reforging is coming back - AWESOME!!!

Hell yes!!!
It'll be ideal if they bring reforging back BEFORE the next ToO - that way, the playing field will be more balanced.
I'm already seeing quite a few people getting snipers with Hidden Hand, shotguns with reinforced barrel + shot package, Rockets with tripod and grenades and horseshoes, etc....... And many other legendaries with all the right perks for a PvP advantage.
If they don't bring reforging back sooner, then those lucky snowflakes will have a slew of advantages in PvP activities like Iron Banner and ToO. Reforging must come back - FAST!!!!
I hope that they make reforging different than before, especially when it comes to getting the same crappy rolls over and over again.
When I got my first Ash Factory, it took me a total of 79x reforges until I got one with Tripod + Grenades and Horseshoes. And........ I did not stop there, I continued reforging because it did not have Javelin in the middle column.
All and all, it took my around 130 something reforges until I got my first Ash Factory with Tripod + Grenades and Horseshoes + Javelin.
I don't need to explain why a Ash Factory (or Radgast) with that roll is a beast in all PvP activities.
I've seen Ash Factories just straight up stop with those perks on them. If it wasn't for reforging, then those few lucky snowflakes would have been the only ones with "god tier" rocket launchers.
Reforging is what balanced the playing field, and made so that the lucky snowflakes didn't have too great of an advantage.

Honestly for rocket launchers I much prefer clown cartridge to tripod because I get extra rockets. I always end up getting at least 1 sometimes 2 extra rockets and 5 or 6 rockets is better than 4 with 3 in a magazine if you ask me.

6 RepliesHow did it break PvP if everyone wanted a nerf to TLW, thorn, messenger, etc. Most of "OP" weapons weren't even reforgable. As far as shotguns go, you get a year 2 felwinters lie for free from finishing a vanguard quest.

reforging ruins the game. there is no replayability in the game if you just find something and can immediately make it exactly how you want it. then everyone has everything. if they are going to offer reforging, they might as well just make every single gun drop with the same exact perks, because everyone would basically reroll for the same perks . how about people just play the game and wait for drops? and btw, clown cartridge > tripod

Reforging needs to be limited to a number of attempts per gun per week with the ability to choose the best roll (for you) you have aquired in those attempts. Otherwise everyone runs around with thr same guns and perks. I haven't been so lucky since rng drops came back with the TTK. Perks on my guns have been pretty lackluster, altho have seen some amazing rng perk rolls for others. I love the idea of reforging but there needs to be limits in place. It sucks whenever has the same 5 guns with same perks.

NO!!! Now I love opening weapon engrams hoping for a good roll but with reforging i don't get happy over opening engrams :(

Reforging should only be on armor and nothing else. I don't want a repeat of HoW where everyone is only using shotguns that sniper you 40 feet away.

3 RepliesIts a dumb idea they way they had it. Removes the point of drops in the first place. If they bring it back, there should be a limit to reforging a gun or armor. Like 3 times per piece.
