throwing knife precision hit doesnt kill
this is one of the dumbest things ive seen in this game and ive seen alot of them
precision hit with throwing knife does not one hit in pvp
while warlock and titans punches do or generate armor
only blink strike actually can with a perk back stab where you actually have to hit the back or do precision hit which is pretty damn hard
this is just not fair why the hardest ability to hit in the game does not do 1 hit????

1 ReplyIdk man, that throwing knife isn't meant to be its own OHKO. It's meant to be a last resort for when your gun fails you and you just gotta make one last attack. The Hunter gets a quest to kill 15 Guardians in the crucible. The quote for the quest: "Are they leading or following up with the throwing knife? That's one way to tell an arrogant Gunslinger from a desperate one." —Ikora Rey And it's one of the truest damn things I've read in Destiny. Besides, a shot or two then a throwing knife will almost always result in a kill if its a headshot.

So shoot them with a scout rifle or hand cannon and then throw the knife.

I see this coming from the quest forcing the use of the throwing knife. In that regard it is harder to get a kill than with a traditional melee seeing that the regular melee doesn't count.

Because that would be insane?!?!! You seriously hit once with pretty much any primary then throw it. Plus the knife juggler perk would be insane if it was 1 shot

1 ReplyIt does if you use incendiary blade, otherwise its fine where it is. I manage a few kills with them a game and im sure it makes people rage when i hit them with 1 shot and a knife at a distance. Thats enough for me to be satisfied.

It was a OHKO in the beta. It was far too strong and so toned back.

3 RepliesThrowing Knives are ranged melee with some many other additionally benefits it does not need to be a 1hk (with a headshot). Pretty much any damage done to the enemy results in death when hit by a throwing knife.
