So, how's your K/D progressing?
Now that Thorn and TLW are no longer king, I'm curious to see how people are doing.
Personally, mine's been going up on both my Warlock and Titan, although it's a slow gain so far.

7 RepliesMine wasn't great to begin with. Went down a little but I'm doing those stupid last word and throwing knife quests so I've been dying a lot. I got up to 53% yesterday and dropped back down to 22%. I wouldn't even bother but the completionist in me is going nuts having the quests in my log >.<

Went 6 games in a row yesterday with a 3.0+ k/d. Was using Monte Carlo and a longbow.

Kd only matters if you get around 13+ kills that game IMO

Another thing I must point out is Destiny's lag problem on a lot of people's ends. (I hate to bring lag into this, but I'm doing it.) It's a mix between the game alone and peoples ping. When the host is close to me or I'm host, I wreck shop and destroy the other team constantly, but when the tables are turned, I can only get kills with a super or sticky grenade because I'm a split second behind everyone. I think the majority of the highest k/d players live a very short distance from their nearest Central Office where their connection comes from, so when they're on the butt end of the connection in game it's not as bad. My nearest CO is 2 counties away according to Verizon. Lots of repeaters in between to slow things down and delay things.

Down, bloody Amanda Holliday TLW quest proving a bit of a sticking point, I normally trade kills with the higher placed enemies and can get a decent 2.0+ k/d; but I've never liked that gun (ex Thorn user, but I always went for the 3-headshot kill)

My KD was ~1.0 as a Titan since launch, but crept up to 1.1 due to multiple 1.5-2.0 games despite fighting against Thorn users. As a Warlock now, I sit at a average of 1.6 that is slowly improving. :D

Total K/D is 1.09. Year one it was 0.95

Went down thanks to that exotic sword bounty. Trying to get 25 kills with your sword can be a bit of a pain. Especially when you're only running around with the nub trying to get kills xD
