Best pve primary ?
Title says most of it. What are the most effective legendary or exotics primaries? I just cant seem to find a gun that I feel is truly good. Are auto rifles bad for pve ?

Still miss my Vision of Confluence but this gun is beautifully balanced and can have close to max stability. The range is unbelievable and I am a firefly fan so am impressed with this gun for now. Pity it isn't elemental which would make it almost perfect. Enjoy using Suros as well.

Auto rifles are good if you get a high fire rate one and stay away from the ones that fire slower when aimed but give more dmg when aimed (its a 33% dmg buff for a 50% fire rate reduction about) Hand cannons are good if you are highly accurate and get all the increased primary/hand cannon ammo gears you can wear. Scout rifles deal the most dmg per shot Pulse rifles have the highest damage per total ammo volume aside from hand cannons (hand cannons take longer though) and i think highest DPS.

1 ReplyDead Orbit's scout rifle Hung Jury and Apple of Discord from the Vanguard both look really good. But buy them from the vendors if you want those perks because they tend to be different if you get them as drops. Hung Jury - triple tap and firefly Apple of Discord - full auto and landing body shots gives bonus precision damage, plus high stability. But, as exotics go - Bad Juju is the best imo. Full auto, reloads automatically after every kill AND charges your super... It's beastly lol.

Hung Jury is the best legendary primary I've found. The raid primaries are all very lackluster.

Doom of Chelchis with auto fire is a MONSTER. Touch of Malice is also a tank - you just need to monitor your health and know when to shoot.

2 RepliesWhatever high-light level weapon you're the most comfortable using. My current favorite is the Zhalo Supercell. But my all time favorite, for PvP and PvE, has always been Hawkmoon, ever since I dropped it last December it's been my go to. When Xur sold the year two one, I got it so I wouldn't have to worry about getting so many Legendary Marks, and I honestly couldn't bring myself to dismantle my old one for a few minutes. I know the new one is the exact same gun, and I know it's just pixels on a screen, but damn I was attached to that thing.

4 RepliesI actually like one of the Gunsmith's Arms Day deliveries. The [b]Suros DIS-43[/b] is a great scout rifle. I infused a duplicate exotic (bloody Three of Coins and those endless duplicates!) into it to bring it to 288. Having said that I just got a blue engram turn purple yesterday and it gave me a 293 [b]Not Like the Others[/b] that just happens to have Firefly. Now I've upgraded/unlocked that it feels like a beast! Of course it kind of depends if you like scout rifles. I also like pulse rifles and early on I got [b]The Villainy[/b] which is really good too.

raid scout is quite decent though not the best. it looks awesome but the tiny dot in the middle makes precision kills a hard task. also range is not the best on it. bonus to taken enemies usually makes my day. in exotics i like the bad juju because you just never need to reload that thing :) unless you cant kill stuff ^^ also my primary for pvp now. basically everything with full auto is good for a primary in pve as well as pvp. auto rifles are better now but they still somehow suck in my opinion. if they deal good damage they lack in stability and vice versa. i just cant get comfortable with em
