Wow, what a poorly designed strike. I'll take 10 Valus Ta'aurc over this one.
Edit: some people are asking "why?"... That's a fair question; I just think it has way too many high tier mobs In a very confined space. The final boss fight is not really enjoyable... You can't pace yourself and enjoy the scenery, the only possibility is to burn him ASAP unless you want AIDS and get overwhelmed by the mobs and the electrified level.
Edit: I happen to think that the rest of the expansion was 100% worth the money... Everything in it is awesome, except this strike... I just didn't enjoy it.
Apparently people are not allowed to have a different opinion or they're whiners.

1 ReplyI actually enjoy it because it's pretty fast once you get past the warsat and I love pointing out the ghost in the vent for randoms in my strike ^.^
-
I burn him asap cuz I def don't want aids
-
Its fun
-
I honestly like it. It's a bit easy tho even on NF
-
Nope. Don't mind this strike at all.
-
1 ReplyI think all but his final phase is fine. That final phase, though. It's when he becomes a close range shocking enemy. Then the snipers spawn, coupled with no cover = total pain in the ass. All I want is some cover, for -blam!-'s sake.
-
Very hard and frustrating but we beat the nightfall today. Just have to learn how the room switches. Focus on adds especially the snipers then hit him in his week spots. I used void machine gun then hammered him when he got low.

1 ReplyGiant Shank! Go home you're drunk
-
I liked it
-
You can pace, and there is no need to burn. You just need to learn the mechanics of this fight, and not just make a post claiming there are none.

6 RepliesHA! Best strike so far! It is challenging. Requires teamwork. Nowhere to hide like a bitch (which is a problem for bitches). The boss doesn't require you to burn him. You have to control adds, which are so weak it's a one shot from a primary. 1 guy controls adds, 2 guys hurt the boss. If add guy falls behind, he asks for help, if he is ahead, he shoots the boss. Spacial awareness is huge because the space changes. So we have a strike that requires good communication, teamwork, personal responsibility and smart positioning. Yup, horrible design. If you're a bitch.

Edited by tougood: 9/26/2015 5:23:31 PMToo many high level mobs in one area? The Mars Vex strike says hi. I liked the saber strike because it's the only one that isn't a linear walk in the park/shoot everything. It took a few mins for the randoms I was playing with to figure out that they needed to throw a grenade into the hole and shoot the vent to go through. The boss isn't even that bad. There's cover that changes and he has three forms. Best strike design by far!

1 ReplyI enjoy it.
-
4 RepliesS.A.B.E.R 2 itself is genius. We need more strikes with dynamic bosses.
-
I actually really loved this strike. I like how the boss had changing attack patterns. Also it's a giant shank. What's not to love?
-
High tier? Theyre shanks lmao. Pick them off and THEN shoot the saber. Things a cake walk. While the giant harpie is fun, thats prolly the worst for just the sheer time it takes
-
1 ReplyI just wander if Rasputin hates us now
-
It's not a bad strike. I enjoy it. Except defending the Warsat with Taken waves. That is very unenjoyable...
-
Edited by Dookie Monsta: 9/26/2015 5:08:59 PMIts just a difficult strike for sure. Edit: I came to kick ass and take names not enjoy the scenery lol. Edit 2: I laughed at the aids part.

I enjoy this strike it's really quick and easy and very diverse with his critical points
-
I love that strike it's fun
-
1 ReplyI do see what you're saying, especially about the Warsat section, but I do appreciate how Bungie put work into making strikes more dynamic and interactive, and I've always thought the Strike to be rather easy
-
4 RepliesI beg to differ as a dark souls veteran I relish the fact that they pop up cover for you and let you escape and as for difficulty I wouldn't say it's to hard my friend used the bow on him in the nightfall and I went to town on him with void edge knocking him down to half Heath just for him to fall later due to a void shotgun and the telesto, in my own personal opinion I think it's cool but I'll respect yours
-
1 ReplyCan't pace yourself and enjoy the scenery... In the final boss fight. Great defense bro. But I like difficulty
-
3 RepliesIt's a tough strike, you definitely can't solo it, especially on a nightfall. But I love how people complained about bosses being bullet sponges and strikes with no mechanics (which is true of year one)... and yet when a strike with mechanics comes out, people complain about that too. This community is just full of whiners.

2 RepliesI can carry the orb like a champ...just zig zag as you run back behind the electricity... left, mid, right, mid score!!!! Make sure the other 2 team mates are spankin the shanks as you run But HOLY F***K do I HATE the Warsat part.
