Here are some numbers for you all courtesy of DTR's community statistics
Edit: I find it hilarious that people are attacking my personally for these stats. If any of you had half a brain and bothered to read you would realize these are NOT my stats.
I also didn't realize this forum suddenly became somewhere that requires perfect statistical presentation.
Super kills (PVP)
Hunter Nightstalker 54,549,041 (4.90%)
Titan Sunbreaker 30,933,744 (2.78%)
Warlock Stormcaller 28,664,865 (2.58%)
Grenade kills (PVP)
Hunter Nightstalker 31,135,311 (4.11%)
Warlock Stormcaller 26,611,954 (3.51%)
Titan Sunbreaker 16,019,668 (2.11%)
Melee kills (PVP)
Warlock Stormcaller 38,775,697 (3.16%)
Hunter Nightstalker 32,853,317 (2.68%)
Titan Sunbreaker 29,285,716 (2.39%)
Sooooooo. You were saying how sunbreakers get sooooooooo many kills with their overpowered hammers yet they still have less super kill then the hunter SUPPORT class.
Edit 1.
Class breakdown
33.5% warlock with 3% being stormcaller
32.3% titan with 3% being sunbreaker
34.2% hunter with 4% being nightstalker
These are updated every 15 minutes by destiny tracker. I didn't collect these. The low percentage is because the subclass percentage is based upon what percentage of tracked games they have been in.
Edit 2: actual numbers for classes for you
Warlock 1,854,319
Titan 1,786,529
Hunter 1,890,494

Hunter Nightstalker 33,721,785 (2.75%)
Titan Sunbreaker 30,104,721 (2.45%)
Edit:
Okay, it seems there's way to many people sticking to the argument,
There are more Hunters than Warlocks/Titans therefore they're are going to have more kills.
If you agree, then this is for you.
These stats were derived from a sizable portion of the population using the most recent statistic. 5.54 million games played as a specific subclass total.
Hunter 1,894,406
Warlock 1,858,093
Titan 1,790,357
4% of Titans' and Warlocks' tracked games were played as Sunbreakers and Stormcallers. 5% of the Hunters' tracked games were played as Nightstalkers. Those of you with even a little bit of background in math already start to see a problem here ;)
We can conclude that:
92524 games were played as a Nightstalker
75619 games were played as a Stormcaller
71461 games were played as a Sunbreaker
And now to put everything on an equal playing field.
Super Kills Avg per:
Nightstalker - 619
Sunbreaker - 474
Stormcaller - 419
Melee Kills Avg per:
Stormcaller - 566
Sunbreaker - 448
Nightstalker - 375
Grenade Kill Avg per:
Stormcaller - 387
Nightstalker - 354
Sunbreaker - 245
Total Kills Avg per:
Stormcaller - 1372
Nightstalker - 1348
Sunbreaker - 1167
Hmm, would you look a that. Seems like it wouldn't matter if there was an equal amount of Hunters, Warlocks and Titans. Hunters and Warlocks would be neck and neck yet Titans would still come in dead last.
I wonder how such an OP subclass ends up with the least amount of kill.
Yaaaa hunter master race :D

1 ReplyNice work pal Looks like bladedancer should be beefed first
-
3 RepliesIt amazes me how stupid Titans or anyone who thinks its not OP are. I bet if Bungie gave Golden Gun 7 shots, health regeneration, and a shield with 66% damage reduction everyone would go -blam!-ing nuts and cry and scream nerf immediately. Oh ya lets just add tracking too, and you don't actually have to hit them either, let's give the golden gun a giant kill radius like the hammers. Surely that's fair and not OP right? Just like hammers. You idiots know it's OP and it's the the new crutch. Use and abuse it while you can scrubs. Here's some numbers for you nerd.

1 ReplyI like seeing posts like this. It's fun to see how people refuse actual statistics with their invalid opinions.

2 RepliesEdited by Mommy's little VoGchamp: 9/29/2015 12:15:05 PMIts funny that statistics dont take into account player skill. Sure, maybe that Titan only got two kills with Sunbreaker, but maybe he only has a .5 kd. And maybe because the Hunters are better players in general, they can get more kills out of supers. Statistics only get you so far, and they certainly don't prove your point here.

Edited by JoeJitsu22: 9/29/2015 12:16:57 PMNumbers never lie. It's why forums are a small portion of a larger community. They see this data, bungie doesn't react to just forums. They have the data, they see things like loot cave activity without it being broadcasted. They know what we are doing and where. Remember heat maps in halo? They don't need the forums to scream nerf. They know.
-
This is great but irrelevant. The fact that a large proportion of people fill their nappies when they hear or see a sunbreaker hammer coming their way is justification enough to cry like a baby on the forums.

Bump dis reality!
-
All the people choosing to ignore statistics. Lol

2 RepliesAbout 46% of car accidents are caused by drunk drivers... That means 54% are caused by sober drivers... So statistically it's safer to drive drunk.....
-
The main thing you're missing though is the ratio of hunters, titans and locks. More hunters out there than the other classes by far, in cruc at least. That being said, I think people just act like mlg wannabes and take the very arcade pvp in this game way too seriously. I couldn't care less whether or not it gets nerfed and I only play a titan

Edited by Raider TCK: 9/28/2015 5:51:49 PMYou realise that you are comparing a YEARS worth of blade dancer and gunslinger kills, to two weeks of sunbreaker kills. So the 45 million kills with sunbreaker titans, compared to the last year with at 195 million kills as gunslinger is ballanced? So sunbreakers are averaging 22.5 million kills a week. Gunslinger hunter kills average about 3.5 million per week. So if they had been out as long as Gunslingers they would have 1.17 BILLION kills. Also the Titan population is currently smaller than the other two classes. I expect that will change soon.
-
Please take out the old supers because they have been around since day one and will obviously have more kills.
-
32.3% titan with 3% being sunbreaker 34.2% hunter with 4% being nightstalker

You were saying how sunbreakers get sooooooooo many kills with their overpowered hammers yet they still have less super kill then the hunter SUPPORT class.
you know, there are more bullets shot in CoD than in battlefield, totally not because more people play CoD though right?
-
1 ReplyGuys just run or either team shot bungie even said they wanted the sunbreakers to be something to fear, personally I have no problem with new Titan power I mean come on titans have been suffering for a while let them have there fun. No power is overpowered unless you let it overpower you.
-
4 RepliesYou can make statistics say whatever you want. A lot of people drown with ice cream in their stomachs, therefore ice cream causes drowning...
-
2 RepliesStatics aren't exactly why everyone thinks it's overpowered. Saying it has less overall kills than the other supers is applying the variables of how many players play crucible as a Titan class. Look at it directly. No one is saying sun breakers are overpowered. What we believe is overpowered in crucible is the super specifically, the Hammer of Sol. Analyze it like this. Let's start with Warlock supers. Nova Bomb's Utility is a quick one time use large explosion that kills many enemies instantly, assuming they are in range of the blast. You gain a small amount of extra armor while throwing the actual super for fractions of a second. Hammer of Sol has roughly the same range as they both depend on player skill, does equal damage, but you get to throw it 6-7 times as opposed to one, and you gain the super armor. Radiance gives you the super armor, but doesn't really increase your killing proficiency, giving you more grenade and melee charges, but no where near enough to equal the amount of power and armor that hammer of sol gives. Storm trance...here we go with this one...everyone also likes to say storm trance is overpowered. Storm trance has the same killing proficiency as hammer of sol does but with two limiting factors the hammer doesn't. With Storm trance you have to get decently close range, and you gain literally NO armor. You can be one shot by a shotgun in storm trance. Hammer of sol has the armor and range storm trance does not. Now moving on to hunters you see a similar pattern. Golden gun doesn't get the armor or amount of shots hammer does. Bladedancer gets less armor and is limited by range. Night stalker isn't meant for power so there's no argument of why hammer is stronger than that. Hammer of sol takes every other super in the game and builds on its power. There is no counter for it. Taken King has been out for 2 weeks. Imagine those stats two months from now as more people switch to what is CLEARLY the best pvp class and start getting more and more kills with it. You get your super twice a match. Hammer of sol gets a Titan between 4-7 free kills giving them a rough minimum of 8 and a max whopping 14 free kills per game, and they wouldn't even have to play the rest of the match. Every other super averages 1-3 with blade dancer reaching out to maybe 4 or 5 per use.
-
And yet, the competition is so threatened that they would see us nerfed from dead last to...wait. I thoroughly predict that within the end of the year, all three Hunter subclasses will be in the top 3 or top 4 ranking for super kills and similarly of every other class such as melee and grenade. I predict also that sunbreaker super will be the possible 3rd or 4th place super while the Titans melees and grenades will still largely inhabit the last few places available in the rankings. Nerf they say. Based on this and similar data it becomes clear that the hunter class is the most well equipped to kill guardians and everyone would benefit if this were to be normalized. Just saying.
-
Being tethered counts for a super kill... even if the super didn't do it I can hold many guys in 1 tether so do the math
-
Are those total stats since year one launch? It may sway the results if so
-
1 ReplyGreat job gathering all those facts though I fear the pure whining of this community titans will still get the shaft.
-
More ppl play hunter though
-
In sure what u put up there is great but I'll skip all of it and says this. Why is a super not overpowered? It's a super one hit one kill. It should require addition hits to bring them down. Two sniper headshot min and good luck on a melee kill.

Still reading posts from illiterates. Yet again I think you do an excellent job trying to explain something, but people still refuse to acknowledge.
