The new warlock sub is sadly the weakest from all new subclasses.
They take to much dmg and don't make much dmg.
On Top of that they don't reggen health on kill.
To kill some trashmobs it's rly great but that's something the other 2 new subclasses can achieve too.
Problems:
Dmg tickrate or the dmg is a little bit too low.
Resistance is too low.
You don't heal on kill.
Super is only good if you have the perk that increases the time in it.
What is your opinion ?
Btw sunbreaker is OP.

There's a little thing that's called 'git gud' that you should try out with stormcaller since it'll become my new go to subclass for Trials, Iron Banner, and all things crucible until the old subclasses get a buff. You don't need health regeneration for it to be a good super or the damage reduction (see golden gun) and it doesn't need to 1 hit everything in its path. Which if it did all three of those things, everyone would be on here complaining about us warlocks and the poor titans getting all this backlash in their awesome hammer. It's much better than everyone else makes it out to be.
-
I'll agree that it's the weakest, but I think the concept behind it is coolest. I mean c'mon, fingertip lightning? FUK YESS!
-
You should try to get this heavily detailed analysis on damage output published.

1 ReplyTo be honest, before TTK came out I thought they'd be a lot worse than the actually are. I was 100% convinced that a Stormcaller's super would be 100% ineffective against yellow bar enemies. Turns out, the super works very well on mobs and anything less than an Ultra. I do miss Voidwalker's health regeneration on melee and Sunsinger's flame shield on melee but otherwise it's not a bad subclass. Sunbreaker and Nightstalker fill very specific roles that Titans and Hunters never had access to so they feel very exciting compared to Stormcaller's ( which has to compete with the Voidwalker subclass in the blow shit up at a large scale department ).
-
You just can't use it right. Warlocks were not made to take tons of dmg. If you want a tank, delete all your characters and create titans! Problem solved!
-
Storm caller is squishy
-
2 RepliesBeing a human super arc machine gun that chains lightning everywhere and make triple kills all around I so underpowered
-
Btw sunbreaker is OP.
Really? This again?
-
Look if I had to compare all the arc class supers, I have to say that storm caller is on top. Especially compared to blade dancer. The kill count can exceed the other arc supers by a big count. Sure you give up some defense, but as long as you don't bite off more than you can chew (majors/ultras), then you'll be fine:)
-
I will say there are moments when storm caller really shines. But that is usually when there are tons and tons of red adds around. The first time through gorgoroth we stayed down in the bottom for multiple burns and the Lightning cleared out all of the cursed thrall and taken adds pretty well.

There is a perk that regins helth
-
How can hunters and warlocks become friends Shadow shot + storm = Orbs for days.
-
I like it, you have to set the thing to chain so you can focus the majority of your attack on the majors while still killing the regular mobs around them. It's not a one hit destroy everything like the nova bomb is but that's ok, I like that it plays differently.

7 RepliesWarlocks mad no longer top tier? As a main Titan since beta. This makes me smile. Btw I'm okay with a sunbreaker nerf.
-
2 RepliesYeah say that after one gets 12 kills with one super, tell me can any other super last that long?
-
You obviously don't play it right. I've gotten some great kill streaks with Stormtrance.
-
Ok I main a hunter and I have to say Stormcallers get rid of enemy crowds like its no ones business they literally destroy everything.
-
Are you stupid? Storm caller seems more OP than Hammer of Sol.
-
Why do you have to add that last little bit? U mad or nah?
-
Plz don't use your super on a yellow bar enemy, any super will fail at taking down that enemy. Supers are fantastic for low tier enemies. Sun breaker melts low levels- makes many orbs. Shadow shot on group of low levels- absurd amount of orbs. Yet your dumb ass probably thinks that when you use your super it should insta kill. Especially with that super, I think it's quite balanced. I also think that sun breaker is fine, but a damage reduction could be on the table. From the community- time your supers. Do not use them right when they come available. Especially in a room filled with enemies with weapons pointed right at you. Cheers.
-
Shhhhh, if people think we are the worst class then they will also think we are skilled. :)
-
Sunbreaker technically is t actually OP. The entire class itself isn't. Just the supers damage resistance. Also, I really don't think stromcaller is OP. Now nightstalker... I main a hunter. Lol.
-
2 RepliesOn behalf on the actually intelligent warlocks, we are sorry for the butthurt of this one. Sorry for the inconvenience

7 RepliesEdited by redbarron0609: 9/28/2015 10:36:38 AMA couple comments 1) There is a perk to regenerate your health. When you activate your super with full grenade and melee charge it restores health to full and reduces incoming damage. It's called Transcendence. 2) Have you've tried the new raid? It completely wrecks. For example during the warpriest fight when the ads spawns in between dps rounds I can wipe out pretty much the whole center plate area and right area. This creates a shit ton of orbs for my titan and hunter brothers and sisters
-
that warlock super lasts forever in pvp. I have underestimated the time many times.
-
We still have sunsinger which is my exclusive raid type. Also sormcaller wrecks in pvp. In 6v6 I get at least a triple every time
