TIME TO FIND THE OTHER HIDDEN EXOTICS
Alright guys, I think I can safely say that quite a few of us know about the Black Spindle secret mission by now. And I bet I can safely say we're all now wondering what other missions have these secret exotic weapon drops. If we can keep this bumped, I'd like to make this a hub for any and all information regarding future hidden exotics.
I'll assume now, as I've heard it said, that something like the black spindle mission only happened because the original mission was the daily heroic mission today (that's a lot of missions in one sentence!). Maybe this goes for all other potential exotic drops? Hard to tell at this point.
And hey, maybe this is just a specific thing, for a specific weapon. Who knows? That's what I'd like to find out. If you hear anything, find anything, or just have something to speculate, please leave a comment below. And feel free to bump this so we can keep the discussion going! Just want to say, in the room where there are 2 shriekers on the way to alak-hul to the left there are those invisible platforms that lead down to a calcified fragment and a door, did anyone try go there when the daily was regicide ? it might open(I haven't tested it yet but would like to hear from others that might have)

A couple of notes in regards to the daily heroic story today... The black garden... I of course felt inclined to explore the map and found three points of interest the first being a door in the Rubicon wastes. I have not searched well here before but as you would proceed on the value ta'aurc strike if you enter the building at the start of the strike and take an immediate right you'll see a door with several moving gears on it, the next intriguing area is as soon as you pass through the gate to the garden if you hook an immediate right you can jump into a corner in the room where it almost appears as an outside area, it looks like the glitch areas but the area is completely accessible no glitching needed, there are several ledges and you can follow them and actually come to a point where your location will change in the bottom left corner of your screen, my final observation was the undying mind path if you choose to follow it you'll come to a point where there is a barrier similar to the barriers throughout the undying mind strike . I was just wondering if others have seen/investigated these areas and what their findings hold

To get them, we must wait for the Regicide mission to become a daily. You see, Primus Ta'aun has the same exact gauntlets. EDIT: It appears that the Shield Brothers are tied to Primus Ta'aun. My team and I ran the strike several times just to record all the different dialogue, same with Regicide mission and Enemy of My Enemy. Also read the grimoire as well. It appears that the legendary Titan Gauntlets Mau'ual's Maulers hold a significant role in discovering the Thagomizers. Primus Ta'aun is a bond brother with Mau'aun and Thu'urn. Now then, If Ta'aun drops Thagomizers, and Mau'ual's drops the maulers, then Thu'urn is the next bond brother to drops an item. As soon as we finish compiling the dialogue and experiment with Thu'urn I'll post our findings. Only thing we know is that Regicide holds a hidden exotic. NEW LEAD!!! We have compiled the dialogue from Regicide, Enemy of my Enemy, Shield brothers and the grimoire. The clue has been in front of us all along. Mau'ual's Maulers is the clue hinting Thagomizers

1 ReplyI have a theory possibly worth testing. At the end of the exotic sword quest we fight three different elementally shielded knights. We kill whichever cooresponds to our blade and Aluk hul in thirty seconds. Earlier in the questline we face three similarly shielded knights albiet unamed. These knights MUST be killed with one super in a very short period. Im curious to see if using this strategy in the special strike might cause a special drop. Kill all four within 30 seconds and all three knights with one super.

3 Replieswhen regicide was the daily i was able to scan the door behind the portal to oryx when i believe i was never able to b4 (could be wrong) but i didnt get a "we just missed them" line from northbot also to those wondering i broke down a fatebringer and found verdict and nothing special so sadly those seem to be gone for good or at least till VoG reboot

7 RepliesIn the bond brothers, when you kill the tank, a named ultra collousus appeared at the furthered right door. And when I killed him a door opened to go down stairs. Unfortunately my team died so I was down there for about 30 seconds. I was in the weekly heroic strike playlist. It opened just like the black spindle hidden exotic. Hidden exotic? Or nothing?

5 RepliesDeej used the phrase "Illuminate the path" in the weekly update. In the Dark Blade strike, there is a path that has a series of lights that turn on when you are standing next to them and turn off as you move away. I'm thinking turning on a certain combination of lights may do something.

6 RepliesEdited by ChaoticKilla517: 9/24/2015 9:41:53 PMThe other special is sleeper stimulant, becuase it is a fusion it counts as a secondary, the primaries: one is touch of malice, and one if no time to explain which is presumably obtained through trials some how, that leaves one more to be discovered and I presume it will be from oryx hard.

Maybe when the last story mission for vanilla destiny becomes a daily, or a version of it involving the black garden, we will get no time to explain.

3 RepliesEveryone know that "secret emblem" you can get by beating the Ultra Knight inside the Cabal ship? Obviously, he drops an emblem, but what if you scan the two terminals during any daily heroic that takes place there? Just a thought..

1 ReplyWhen I first started the mission, I went backwords into the terrestrial complex. All the enemies in the complex are level 41, but I wasn't able to find anything. Can someone confirm?

Looks like today was unfortunately a bust :/ there's still a few missions left that are very promising. Here's a list to look out for, that have been at the peak of a lot of our discussion so far. -Paradox -Cayde's Stash -The mission where you fight the shade in the black garden...? (I'll update this in a sec, I forget -_-) -Heart of the black Garden. Other things to look out for: -Any mission that runs close to a strike -Any mission dealing with Rasputin, or the stranger. *Jusy a clarification, we're talking about Daily Heroics here!* Also, we have yet to find anything yet. Should we start looking into the possibility of the secret missions needing to be in line with ArmsDay? Not much of any concrete evidence to go by, but something to consider regardless. So, what do you guys think? I'm not burnt out just yet, I just know there's more to be found! I'll be back in a few hours to update on tomorrow's daily heroic! :)
