If any of watched and listened to the stream you would of caught them saying at the end don't think that oryx is dead until his grimoire card pops up. When my team was doing it we thought he glitched or had such little health that we couldn't see it. So we all got back to our spots to do one more round. Not knowing he had one last part. I could care less who got worlds first. But when the race is rigged its bull shit for the teams that it did matter to. Because they had inside info. Now you may ask why would bungie do this. Well that's easy if you get streamers to push your game you make money. And the streamers probably get something on the side for it. Bromans team and worlds first is a joke. I'll never watch them stream again bunch of cheats.

Don't be salty. Maybe they did or didn't doesn't matter.

Knowing you get a grimoire card for killing ANY boss is common knowledge. Being astute and knowledgeable doesn't make you a cheater. Plus the stream commentors probably said watch for the grimoire card as well. Smh. People complain about literally anything on these forums. It took them seven hours to beat it. I figure if they had inside knowledge that time would have been cut by a lot
-
A different team got to oryx first and they were wiped after they thought they killed him. That's why they knew that oryx was going to the center one last time.
-
You do know that people can give them pointers in chat right? I was bouncing between teamversus and them. I saw teamversus fall to oryx when he popped up at the end. I jumped over to King Gothlians channel and started spamming to watch for the grimoire card drop and that it wasn't over. There were literally hundreds of people telling them to watch for grimoire card before relaxing.

5 RepliesIt was kinda obvious that oryx would have a grimore, i never watched the stream and i knew that.
-
2 Replies*crinkles tinfoil hat* Goth and Broman are aliens and are controlling Luke smith with their powers
-
They tweeted it out that there was a surprise at the end...
-
4 RepliesWhat exactly are you complaining about? Your team thought it glitched so you claim they have inside info how does having inside info glitch you out? Or... did you mean the part about them saying grimoire card when he does die? If so, then you're only an idiot if you haven't figured it out. kill ANY card related creature the first time, you'll get a card. They make and have made cards for everything, why would they NOT do one for Oryx? "Omg! inside info cheating! they know how grimoire cards work and how raid bosses have them!"
-
6 RepliesI didn't watch the stream but I don't have to to know that the grimoire thing would be a pretty intuitive guess.
-
I beat it the 3 or 4 day it was out and I feel good about it cut we killed everything on the first go lol the end boss was the easiest lol. But it was a amazing team so I expected that :).

24 RepliesYou are really an idiot. You talk about seeing it yourself but you still don't know what happened. A different streamer group called Vsthestream actually got Oryx to the lowest health first, but they died to his nuke at the end. When Broman and his group got there, chat was spamming that it's not going to be over yet, wait and shoot him. There was no "inside info from Bungie", simply a loud chat telling them what someone else learned. They praised Vsthestream after they finished, asking everyone to go follow and sub to them, and congratulated them when they did beat oryx. They acknowledged that they wouldn't have beaten oryx first if Vsthestream hadn't found out about that. And the most important final point. They weren't trying for world's first. They were just there to have fun and raid, and it ended up that they got to each checkpoint before anyone else. There was never inside info, just a group of smart friends who figured it out as they went.

10 RepliesYou just seem salty that you didn't understand the final part yet someone else did, cause they gas people tell them
-
Me: WHAT ARE THOSE???!!!!! warningdanger: Oh yea those are my salt factories

Uh oh! Retard alert!

I don't think it really matters. Even if they ghosted another stream, they streamed it. Whether or not viewers gave information from one stream to another is also irrelevant. If it mattered to them getting a world first, I can make a fair assumption that none of them care about normal mode. In every progression type game with end game content (ie Raids), the world firsts that mattered to these progression players was the highest difficulty setting. And of course I assume there will be a heroic mode, so the end game for them has not arrived. Yet.

Honestly who cares, I have no idea who did it first, I don't care who did it first and I never will. In a few years, MAX, nobody will care. It's not like a sporting achievement, they ain't the world champion at some form of martial art, it's a video game and it's not even a "E-Sport" not that I personally class video games as a sport in any way, shape or form. When I was 15 I came 13th in the world at Donkey Kong Country at a blockbuster competition, I didn't break the top 10 because they allowed the DYDDY cheat, nobody cares! I won 2 martial arts comps on 1 year, that made the girls wet not donkey kong lol

Watching streamers is already a joke
-
Isn't that Bungie s doing then?
-
Edited by ISpilledMyCoffee: 9/24/2015 8:35:58 PMI'm not trying to be hostile but if you don't care about worlds first, why make a thread about it?
-
I couldn't care less* couldn't* FFS, how many of you people do this. Think about what it means.

4 RepliesGoth and broman. World's first to beat oryx, world's last to lose their virginity. Get over it.
-
No, theyre smart. When you kill a boss you get a grimoire
-
Bungie would've disqualified them, dipshit.
-
The other team would have got world first but was killed by that last part. Therefore giving goth and his crew a heads up that that part was coming. No cheating or info. Just payed attention.
