Black Spindle Is Not A Real Exotic
So let me get this straight. You nerf black hammer by taking the infinite ammo away. Now you think it's all good by giving the "black spindle" the same perks as the black hammer? Does this weapon even have elemental damage? Oh yeah, it's solar damage:/ same as black hammer.. The sniper has no exotic perk on top of all that.

They modified the white nail perk The three hits dont have to be rapid, you can wait 5-8 seconds in between (maybe more but thats all I tested)

10 Replieswe nearly downed gorgoth in one run with nothing but black spindles from 6 orbs please tell me how its not worthy of an exotic I assure you with black spindle equipped and I get to keep my ammo up I will out dps you on any boss compared to your other sniper the fact you never have to reload is an extra second per mag thats 5 seconds total of continous dps. Don't be stupid my friend. It never pays to be stupid

I 100% agree. If their reason for needing black hammer was because it was functioning better than an exotic, they should've altered the perk for the exotic version.

Agreed, I feel that a true exotic has a special perk that makes unique. You can argue that 4th Horseman isn't truly an exotic but I would be inclined to disagree as well... There isn't exactly another shotgun with a rate of fire like the Horseman's...

8 RepliesIt's not a waste of anything. It is by far the best weapon in the game to use in the raid. If it still had its old perk it would be OP, aside from the fact that bungie doesn't want infinite ammo in the game anymore.

If bungie would have kept the white nail perk the way it was this new raid would have been a joke.

I agree with this to an extent but it is still a boss killer for sure. It would have been nice if it magically gave you unlimited ammo as its exotic perk but over all it is still a beast and a DPS'ing machine! I can't really complain to much.

Huh.. How you seen the impact? That s[b]hi[/b]t is f[b]uckin[/b]g huge. The damage is insane. I don't like either that they ruined the white nail perk, but 25k damage constantly is fine.

They should have just given it infinite ammo like the original black hammer had before they nerfed it. Then it would be like the new icebreaker. Because now you have a black hammer which as an exotic is worse than a legendary because it takes up your exotic slot. Atleast I got to infuse it before it becomes even more useless
