TTK - best rewards only for the top 1%
So Golgoroth - yeah after several hours we gave up.
Today's secret daily - don't even get me started.
Even when you pay for the content - it's still beyond the average player.
Bungie - don't create content only geared for the top 1%.

Every day players don't spend 4 hours on a raid. Every day players spend 15 minutes on a strike. There are plenty of strike and crucible specific rewards. You don't see people complaining about not being good at crucible so they can't get trials gear do you? ... Oh wait that happens too.

It's geared for players to have a bit of difficulty with and if you can't beat it you need to get better

It's called a challenge for a reason.

You just need to get like two people you have good chemistry with to play with and exotic quests become so much easier. Just a little coordination and proper subclass utilization goes a long way. That's goes double for the raid, you need perfect coordination and everyone needs to be on board at all times because one small screw up could ruin it.

Right now the majority of players haven't learned the tactics and developed the rhythm you need for these end game bosses. Meta strategies are being developed though and soon nearly everyone will be able to clear Kings Fall.

Don't worry, Bungie will nerf the ability for those players and make it really hard to get that stuff. It's what they do for everything. Bungie stated before in some interview I read that if 15% of active players can obtain most/all stuff before the next DLC or major release, they failed at providing enough challenge to keep players playing.

Theyve finally got stuff for everyone to do. A lot of ppl felt that there wasnt enough difficult content in the game. Got home late last night and only tried for sniper 3 times. I was almost happy that it kicked my ass because of how difficult it was. You can still patrol cosmodrome if you want. Maybe, if youre persistent and you dont give up ever, you can be a top 1% spinmetal collector!

1 ReplyFor better or worse, Bungie is following the MMO format. Which means: -You need friends to play with (or good randoms). -There will be higher tier encounters that will challenge you. -You won't likely get everything in the game. -You won't get private crucible matches. -The grind is real. -It's possible that you may miss out on a fair amount of content. -Your progress will be "reset" regularly, by new content. -10 years from now, you'll be legend, but with nothing to show for it in real life (unless they give us a swanky statuette like Blizzard did). I'm sure there's more to that list.

Theres an equivalent cheese to sniping templar that makes that fight easy and effortless if all you want is the drop.
