Sunbreakers are tough but...

Do you really think they should be nerfed? I'm curious as to where all the hates coming from. I main warlock, and I think titans deserve some badass range after dealing with their purple balls, and panic-smash. *edit* Stubborn people are stubborn. I think we should think outside the box. I do not believe for Sunbreaker to be balanced it has to die to Golden Gun. That sounds like lazy hunter talk. You can hear the hammer from across the map learn how to back down. Maybe a shotgun/melee you've been using since day one shouldn't be your only strategy. *edit2* If SB dies to on GG than GG > SB. Is that balance? *edit3* The conversation is mostly good. The ragers are comical. Maybe the SB could lose a hammer. I'm still not completely sold. Still totally against health reduction. *edit4* A few people have brought up that with speed, armor, and power it is overwhelming. I don't completely disagree. Maybe a slight adjustment to mobility. He does become a super tank. *edit5* Here's a funny note. Most people asking for a "I play all classes, and want a nerf" option have more hours on their hunter than any other class. Some hunters are also forgetting that Y1 supers in crucible were anything but balanced. No other class was as consistent at getting multi-kills with supers. I am fine without any nerf, but if I must acquiesce what do you think about no sprint for Titans as the only nerf. I will never concede that the armor should come down.

    Solution 2 players shoot...You have a team.....Also whats the difference between bladedancers in year one, it was rare to beat 1v1 and they usually took out teams, gunslingers is the same. Bladedancers as well have mobility to move around to avoid headshots. The fact that sunbreakers are killing them is upseting roughly 40% or higher of people that went to hunters for pvp crutch. Maybe bladedancer should have a limit of how much they can lunge with a cooldown....ha

  • Sunbreaker doesn't need to nerf. I am Titan and I can easily kill them with my quick scope LDR

    • Need less armour in PvP. Enough so a Patience and Time impact sniper can headshot in one shot, and so a golden gun can also one shot too

      • The only problem is that they can survive a golden gun shot. Just lowered the damage resistance so it's higher than warlocks and hunters, but can't survive a GG shot. Other than that though, they're fine.

        • I just don't think its right that they can't be 1 head shot by a high impact sniper. Every super with damage resistance ,bar maybe a warlock with radiance whose only 1 hit ability is their melee, can be 1 shot with a high impact sniper while supering. Why should a walking death machine who can deal out so much damage be able to tank it as well?

            • I'm a titan, and in my cases its the same as any other mobile super, being that if its around the corner its probably going to kill my whole team

            • I replied to one of these a while back and got mixed replies of hate, solid logic going against my view, and then the normal back and forth. My only gripe for the class, at the time, was that I assumed they had unlimited hammers during super use. Every time I'd go up against one or see one activate their super, it just looked like R2 spam all day. But, I was informed that someone must choose a perk to get the extra hammers for days. So, with that the class is totally fine with me. I have all 3 but main my hunter, I love the speed and precision it takes to use gunslinger effectively(minus GG of course, we all know that's easy mode) It's about time the class lives up to its name, Titan. Oh, and if the people screaming nerf would learn how to have some game awareness, you can hear the dam super getting activated. Run for cover mother fluffers. That is all

                    • I don't think they should be nerfed. What is an amazing combo is the hunter with a warlock. Hunter prevents movement and warlock chain electrocution = death to a group of players.

                      • The people wanting the nerfs mostly just want to keep using thier old plans to my knowledge. Like how the people that didn't want thorn to be nerfed were the ones that wanted to keep using it.

                        • I think tracking on HoS needs to be nerfed a bit. Blasted thing chased me around a [i]corner[/i], continued to move and proceeded to kill me. Armor and everything else is fine.

                        • I think you're all overreacting just because you see the word "nerf." I don't think it needs to be put into the ground by any means, but I do think the damage resistance is a bit too much for the damage and range where the balance needs to be a bit more restrained between the two ends of the spectrum. This is just my experience with stormtrance versus it; it takes me at least 1.5-2x the time to kill a no-sunspot Hammer with my stormtrance while they still oneshot me. Their range is easily greater than my lightning's and they don't have to entirely stop using double jump to fire one off, meaning their super is all-around better than mine in any given clash between me and them. I see that as a bit of an issue when they also get health regeneration; while I don't see it happen enough to get hung up on it, it just feels unbalanced to me. It basically takes the skill or judgement out of a clash between super uses the majority of the time and I think that's something that should be necessary in game balance when they give us all these instant-kill moves.
