Do you really think they should be nerfed? I'm curious as to where all the hates coming from. I main warlock, and I think titans deserve some badass range after dealing with their purple balls, and panic-smash.
*edit* Stubborn people are stubborn. I think we should think outside the box. I do not believe for Sunbreaker to be balanced it has to die to Golden Gun. That sounds like lazy hunter talk. You can hear the hammer from across the map learn how to back down. Maybe a shotgun/melee you've been using since day one shouldn't be your only strategy.
*edit2* If SB dies to on GG than GG > SB. Is that balance?
*edit3* The conversation is mostly good. The ragers are comical. Maybe the SB could lose a hammer. I'm still not completely sold. Still totally against health reduction.
*edit4* A few people have brought up that with speed, armor, and power it is overwhelming. I don't completely disagree. Maybe a slight adjustment to mobility. He does become a super tank.
*edit5* Here's a funny note. Most people asking for a "I play all classes, and want a nerf" option have more hours on their hunter than any other class.
Some hunters are also forgetting that Y1 supers in crucible were anything but balanced. No other class was as consistent at getting multi-kills with supers.
I am fine without any nerf, but if I must acquiesce what do you think about no sprint for Titans as the only nerf. I will never concede that the armor should come down.

I main a Titan and was using a Nightstalker/Bladedancer in crucible today to get the cape and killed between 5-7 sunbreakers with arc blade and shadow shot I even was face to face with a Sunbreaker and used blink strike to dodge his hammer and killed him.

Step 3: If he has, play dead, He might be just curious. Step 4: He has seen you, and is showing signs of aggression. Immediately run. Look for trees to climb and or a safe place he/she cannot reach. OTHER HELPFUL TIPS - Look out for smaller Titans, he may be just trying to defend his young ones. - Avoid eye contact, as it is interpreted as an act of aggression. - Remember, he's just as scared of you as you are of him. - Carry a bottle of Titan repellent whenever you venture into the crucible, it could grant you precious time. 2 RepliesAL HAIL THE SUNBREAKER TITANS MASTER RACE :V

The only fair change I see are that high impact snipers, 1000 yard stare or any sniper that hits for 400+ damage, should be able to 1 hit kill a sunbreakers at full health. Health regen is fine since bladedancers have it. Damage resistance is the only problem.

1 ReplyHoly shit this community is retarded.

1 ReplyHow are we feeling about this after IB?

Health reduction is a must. With regen on a ranged attack, you cannot have that much health.

I once used a pillar as cover as I walked left and right past it during a Sunbreaker attack against me...how I survived is completely unknown

4 RepliesSubreaker? Well you can just jump till they're out.

More a rebalance over a nerf. Output potential and armor total is too high. Is very slowly though. Keep use time the same decrease max number of hammers by one decrease armor to be vulnerable to high impact sniper headshot when not over shielded. Increase super agility slightly. Overall effect, more mobile of a super slightly less lethal and durable in spike output. Average output and durability, little change. For durability decreasing crit resistance would probably do it. No effect on pve and keeps a form of counter to the mobile super that doesn't require another super. Probably should give all supers less crit resistance that increase base resistance during use.

Just let me one headshot it with my sniper !!! Other than that leave sunbreaker alone haha
-
2 RepliesI don't think a simple sniper, that gets around 4 bullets per ammo drop every couple minutes should 1 shot a super. However, if you shoot one with a golden gun at the same time they throw a hammer at you. You should kill eachother. Not saying nerf, maybe pvp buff for gg? It would only affect this since it's the only thing that can survive it now iirc

stop the Titan with my Shadowshot

1 ReplyKilled a Sunbreaker with a Nova Bomb today, I dont see the big deal, other than it was awesone.

2 RepliesTreat these numerous threads like a cancer ridden animal and let them die.

1 ReplyI main the hunter my Brother mains a warlock and i think a head shot with a sniper should 1 hit kill the sun breaker (imo) I say this is balanced because Sun breakers are always moving and by the time you line up your shot you would be dead
-
1 ReplyI feel like nerf is the wrong word. They should be balanced with a 10% reduction in health while in super and a two second reduction of super for the Thor class
-
1 ReplyI don't want a nerf, but we all know that it will happen. It is entirely unavoidable unfortunately, so I hope it isn't too extreme. I think it would be fair if the nerf is just slightly reducing the damage resistance of precision damage only. Skilled shots with calm precision could be more effective while still letting titans tank it by panic shooting still not be effective for killing a Sunbreaker.

2 RepliesI have a shadow shot, this means I can take down your super pretty easily if I want to. There is balance and people need to stop complaining
-
My only beef with it is that perk that all enemies killed by abilities explode. Enemies killed by that explosion then explode again. Doesn't do that to Voidwalker's Bloom perk. Why should it happen with Sunbreakers? Well, that and the fact that they get a larger armor boost than any other mobile super. They're stronger than somebody with a revive shield. Wut? Mobile dude using super should be harder to kill than defenseless guy who hasn't drawn his gun and can't move yet?

2 RepliesYour edit 2... If Sb dies to gg then it's balanced it gg dies to Sb... I'm not calling for a nerf before anyone notices I main a hunter but I would like all supers to be balanced
-
3 RepliesThis poll is broken. I play as all three, there is no option for that. "If SB dies to one GG than GG > SB. Is that balanced?" Actually yeah it is because one Sun Breaker can kill a Gun Slinger. It shouldn't be who can survive what it should be who pulled the trigger first. Actually lets explore this example a bit more: Gun Slinger using perks alone you get a max of 3 shots Sun Breaker using perks alone you get a max of 8 shots 1 shot (doesn't even need to be accurate) from a Sun Breaker hammer will kill anyone whether they are in their super state or not Meanwhile say that the Gun Slinger shot the sun breaker first they have to waste another 1/3 of their super to kill it. While giving the titan enough time to throw a hammer at them. Meaning that at best the Gun Slinger can hope for a trade in kills (or a really sloppy titan...) I haven't brought my Warlock into verify this fact but based on the speed of the supers they have access to I can say they aren't going to be a viable option to end a Sun Breaker's super either. For one the warlock who has the most powerful blast super in the game has to sit in one spot for a few seconds to fire it. I guess if your lucky you'll hit multiple opponents if you have spread on. But again it'll result in a trade in kills. Literally the only equal footing I've seen against a Sun Breaker is a Sun Breaker.

6 RepliesI don't even have a titan and I think you people Complaining need to shut the f×ck up. Learn to work around it
