Bungie.
Most auto rifles take 5 or 6+ shots to kill even with precision. It takes twice as long to win a gunfight using an auto rifle that isn't the Suros Regime. I recommend reevaluating the damage and damage drop off of auto rifles. They should do the most damage at close to medium range.

1 Replylol tell that to my Monte Carlo
-
Autos should be put back to what they were like before the 1.1 nerfs. The range could be diminished a bit, but I don't remember it being a problem on them since the recoil becomes more apparent at range.

2 RepliesYep it's boring ass pulse rifles from here on in....already bored with this meta and losing excitment for any new guns, what's the point may as well just keep using a pulse rifle
-
Just got the zhalo and I'm actually really enjoying it, pulses may out gun it time to kill wise but I find myself winning a lot of gun fights nonetheless
-
1 ReplyAuto rifles are only good against bad players. OP got it right.

11 RepliesHave you tried the super cell? Or the red death prototype auto. They both shred multiple opponents

6 RepliesPeople are using auto rifles? All I see are hunter shotguns still

1 ReplyShotguns should do the most damage at close range, but I agree Autos should have a very slight buff to damage at medium range and change the fall off. ARs just don't feel like they should, and quite honestly get out-performed by pulse rifles at medium range massively, especially by all the f*ggots out there who use The Messenger.

4 RepliesThank you for calling this to my attention. I will now contemplate my life choices, then decide whether or not I will mute you. If I do, I will not say "Muted." If I don't, I will also not say "Muted." In fact, you probably won't ever find out whether or not I mute you. Just accept that one of two things will happen: A) I will mute you. B) I will not mute you. If I choose not to mute you, then I guess it won't matter. If I choose to mute you after all, it also won't matter. If you are still reading this incredibly (and intentionally) redundant comment, then you probably have a greater attention span than the average squirrel. If you are not still reading this, you still probably have a greater attention span than the average squirrel. Squirrels can't read, as far as I know. If you are a squirrel and you are reading this, please do not take offense. If you are not a squirrel and you are still, in fact, reading this comment, which I have posted on this thread, I hope that you will not take offense, either. Now that I think about it, there is no way for me, the author of this post, to know whether or not you, the reader of this post, are a squirrel. I can't see through the screen you are reading this comment on. Unless I can, in which case I will know whether or not you, the reader of this comment, which I have posted, are a squirrel. I may judge your life choices based on that information. Alternatively, I might not judge your life choices based on that information. If I do, I might not tell you. However, by the same token, I might tell you after all. At this moment in time, I do not know. While I am on the topic of time, what exactly is time? Is it a matter of perception, or is it a legitimate force present in nature? If it is, how did it come to be? It might be related in some way to squirrels, which you, the reader, may or may not be. But if you take a step back, you might realise that it might not be related to squirrels. I guess we'll never know.

1 ReplyWhat u guys think of my vanquisher? Its on my warlock

I've had several successful games running a Claws double melee on Stormcaller, with Amplitude to increase melee range. Amplitude gives Thunderstrike crazy range. Throw on Monte Carlo, and have decent aim (looking at you, OP) and you can wreck shop. Just tried this loadout in Rumble today, and it worked pretty well for a melee-oriented loadout. Auto rifles are not underpowered, they just require consecutive follow-up shots that scrubs like you can't seem to get or don't have patience for.
-
My auto on my lock is pretty tuff to beat in a hectic battle.
-
Auto Rifles are all about keeping your opponent off-balance, which gives you a little more leeway to score those additional shots. Besides that, if you can hit ALL headshots, Auto Rifles are probably the best gun in the game; the thing is that you can't realistically do that.
-
The vex works really well and that's basically a auto but I guess it's stats are that if a fusion rifle so maybe not

6 RepliesNecro begs to differ it rips at closer engagement it's very good now

Yeah I tried Summoner today and the TTK just wasn't enough. I may try it again though. The entire team was using Hawkmoon while I'm trying to try out a stupid auto rifle. Hawkmoon is OP is -blam!- but I'm not a nerf baby. The only change I would really suggest is getting rid of that red dot. If you miss a head shot with that thing, you should put your Xbox in the oven and find a new hobby.

I just got a Phantom medal with an AR.. AMA
-
I'm not sure where he got it but this one guy on the other team this morning went like 7.5 with some legendary auto-rifle, it was killing ungodly fast

I been doing ok. Been mainly using autos even before 2.0 & got by.

Hand cannons should be most powerful at close range. Auto rifles next and should do more damage at medium range than hand cannons. To combat this though, you should be able to get at least 2 shots in for every 1 shot by a hand cannon.
-
4 RepliesUr must be crap cause I've been dropping 5kds with it
-
If you say so, but my auto rifles disagree. I feel that the 2.0 update balanced the Primary weapons very well. I feel like I can whip out any gun and do fine now.

Become a titan and get the Fabian Strategy. That should help some! Extra rate of fire when close up I think....
