Bungie.
Most auto rifles take 5 or 6+ shots to kill even with precision. It takes twice as long to win a gunfight using an auto rifle that isn't the Suros Regime. I recommend reevaluating the damage and damage drop off of auto rifles. They should do the most damage at close to medium range.

Have no idea what your on about. Autos are pretty solid these days

5 RepliesHard Light and Monte Carlo are still good in Crucible.
-
1 ReplyIf you have it, try Monte Carlo with whichever ballistics give the most stability and Send It. Tons of range and stability, it's a very viable option.
-
1 ReplyYea this is true. Pulse rifles are better at every distance accept VERY close.... Pretty much melee range. With what seems like 80% of crucible players running around with a shotgun as a primary, I tend to stay well away from effective AR range. I'm sure good players have found success with ARs because they love them, but they would do better with a pulse without a doubt.

I don't know about pvp, but supercell in pve is amazing.

11 RepliesThey're fun to use but you're right, they're still not very competitive. Necrochasm may be the one exception
-
3 RepliesRemember the summoner? Yeah it works pretty well
-
2 RepliesI was wrecking house with Summoner and Suros before 2.0 even came out. And now my Crowd Control/Reactive Reload Silimar's is doing the same. Dafuq are you talking about?
-
1 ReplyThey didn't even buff ARs in 2.0. Suros still hits same as before the update. SMFH

My rare Izudubar D with zoom fire says otherwise. Used to love scouts etc then I came across this thing that has enough ammo and damage to kill 4 guardians in one clip

Edited by Beach Bum: 9/23/2015 2:46:42 AMGreat fun in pve though.

It's a pulse/scout meta this patch. It's probably the most balanced patch so far but pulse/scout are the superior weapons. At least the other weapons are usable this time.

Had loads of fun with aetheons epi today in zone control

You just need to git gud
and a high rate of fire archetype
1 ReplyI believe hard lights new perk prevents damage dropoff?

Bump.

2 RepliesMy Low Down P-XIV disagrees.

5 RepliesAuto rifles are great against bad or dumb players. Period Any smart individual can take advantage of their mobility and an auto rifles weak auto tracking and damage drop off ...obvious drop in ttk Giving auto rifles ranges where other guns have consistent ttks, or are effective in shotgun range is ine of bungies stupid mistakes U can brag about beating noobs, but its just that. I can wreck noobs with my monte carlo too, I'm not stupid enough to use it against good players though
-
Monte....Carlo

2 RepliesIf you can't use a high damage bullet hose then you suck. Get good
-
Dude what u talking bout even y1 Monte Carlo wrecks

I won quite a few matches today on my titan using a legendary auto rifle. it's very possible.

3 RepliesMy red spectre disagrees

I've been using Auto Rifles since before the 2.0 rebalancing and have never had an issue, all you need to do is aim and keep moving. Sure I've met some good players who can counter my movement, but that's why Bungie gave us jumps, grenades, meelee, supers, crouching.... at this point I die more to a whole team using their supers on me (they seriously want C back) than to actual skill, aiming or tactics. It's even worse when I see people walking really slow as if they're invisible, not realising you can just crouch and be off the radar... inevitably they always get an Invective (or whatever other shotguns you people use these days) to the face.

1 Replylol tell that to my Monte Carlo
