5 RepliesBeing level 40 makes no difference, moron.
-
Ok, so level to 40 but have a light cap of 170, the highest level of old gear. That way you get to level up but can't go past year 1 stats. You want year 2 stats, pay up!
-
15 RepliesJust pay the 40 bucks. My chick spends 40 bucks a week on shampoo alone come on guys dont be such tight asses

The poll very clear and Shaxx was here he would call it

FYI you can reach level 40 without buying TTK. Use a friend's console that has the content. Get to 40. Go back and enjoy your game again on your console.

Edited by TmF1979: 9/22/2015 11:17:12 PMVoted no. People who haven't bought TTK should not be able to play content or access features they have not paid for.
-
3 RepliesI don't mind not being level 40. But I don't want to be locked out of content.
-
Nope. Buy TTK like the rest of us.

1 ReplyAt the very least level 38 or 39, like it was with HoW and TDB, where we could use Faction Gear to get to a higher level. Now it's all only for those who have the DLC. Also, they made the mistake where everyone must look the same, unless there are like 20 different sets per class in terms of raid gear, everyone is going to look the same.
-
2 RepliesI have to say, I've never seen a poll backfire quite like this one.
-
If we keep giving them what they want, they'll demand to have Destiny 2 for free
-
7 RepliesI don't want level 40 for free, I just want the content that was removed back.

The poll has spoken
-
-blam!- no
-
Sorry. Had to say no. I had to pay for it. So should everyone else, unless those who paid get a perk that no one else does.

Edited by Dethsoul: 9/22/2015 11:17:10 PMAlthough it seems fair to some at first, you must quickly realize it solves little to nothing. Say you are allowed lvl40 without owning TTK, you'd still be excluded from the rewards and would be unable to even use any TTK gear. I was going to compare it to Borderlands, but BL doesn't lock out players from base content nor require online exclusivity. But the same goes for BL about allowing non-dlc owners to level up, it'd solve nothing as you'd still be unable to even have access to the real dlc content.

It's a console mmo, pay or go away

Shut up and give Bungie muney

11 RepliesI've moved this into Feedback for you. As for the subject, I'm not sure. To be honest, I'm fine with it either way since it doesn't really effect me. However, reaching level 40 and higher Light levels without TTK doesn't really do anything for the player. They don't get new content and the old content doesn't require higher levels. They'll also still be locked out of TTK exclusive content, so is there really any point?
-
1 ReplyWhat's the point? So people can be OP for year 1 and solo everything? I think it's fair enough that lvl 40 and all content is locked behind the new paid expansion
-
3 RepliesNo. While I see why ttk is $40, I don't agree with the price tag of ttk on top of the two lesser dlcs. However, this level cap restriction is common and fair in this type of situation in games. If you feel like you're being cheated out of something for not getting ttk, you're probably right, but this is not the thing. Look for a more valid injustice to correct.

15 RepliesAt least if they made the level cap 40, people would be able to do the nightfall and daily heroic. And being level 40 wouldn't affect the missions that require TTK to play. That means no raid, no TTK missions or strikes, and no TTK crucible maps and game modes. As well as NO patrol on the dreadnaught, etc... I see no problem with just increasing the level cap to 40. At least then people will be able to use powerful weapons and choose to buy TTK to see if buying TTK might actually be worth it, and to see how the end game gear is going to be.

4 RepliesCan You Answer Me This?: If you're satisfied with the content available pre dlc but able to get to lvl 40 when all the content you have access to is < or = 35, then wouldn't the game get boring to you? Additionally, would this inevitable boredom be worth it when there will be plenty of times that you can't access the nightfall because you don't have access to the content of that strike?

21 RepliesWhether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the people without TTK. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Sentenal1997. From what I can gather, he commands the Idiots who comment on TTK posts just outside of #Destiny. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out and break their grip on the forums.
