Reset all abusers
Everyone who abused Three of Coins should have every Year 2 exotic removed from their account, with no strange coin refund.
Remove what they should not have.

13 RepliesHow did people abuse it exactly? They used it as it was intended. They just used it a lot. That's not abuse though, no rules were broken, there was no glitching, going out of the map, lagswitching or anything like that.

If it's in the game, anyone that uses it should not be punished. Unless it's an exploit or some other kind of cheat. In those case, three of coins is not.

I spent all of mine (all I could afford) on Taken Champion encounters on Patrol. I got five exotics from 20 of them total I think. I don't see how that could be considered abuse. I was patrolling for blues and champion kills (and fun) and when the buff went away, I used another one. I don't think my results are too different from those that kept killing themselves, though they probably went through theirs in less time but had less fun.

The coins are meant for exotics...... If you got an exotic from using one then the coin did it's job........ Whether you did it thru stikes or a mission it's still doing it's job........ Why do people even care what anyone else in this game has....................I hate people like you.

If anything all they're gonna do is make it so that it only works with strike bosses and give it a cool down as well. Someone said something about the IX being glad everyone spent their coins so early, they're not going to punish anyone.

I got the following (all Y2 items) from 15 uses of "3 of Coins" Monte Carlo Ruin Wings Crest of Alpha Lupi (Titan) Obsidian Mind Four Exotic Engrams from three "3 of Coins" is good. Thanks Bungie!

Yeah, that's going to happen. Just like all the loot cave farmers got "banned." Or Bungie just patches it and life goes on. Now let me scroll down further and see more people talk about "earning" their exotics. (For the record, I have yet to buy a Three of Coins)
