Dude this is the most flawed paragraph I have ever read.
1. The first thing I would like to point out is that you are saying that when a new COD comes out we want a refund for what we payed for. COD did not delete their original game. It is still completely played like it was before, but what Bungie did with destiny is they deleted what we originally bought, and replaced it with a smaller version of what we had. We then have to pay more to regain the content we lost and get a little tiny bit more content. With COD we don't lose our original game, and we are not forced to buy the new game. With Destiny we are forced to install content that restricts what we bought.
You are then going to argue that we agreed to the EULA. Now you are agreeing that there is a problem, but we can't do anything about it because we agreed to it. That is like saying that an angry mob of people can not burn a witch because the witch let them sign a paper with their consent. There is a fine line that the EULA can, and can't do. The mob will obviously burn the witch with a signature or not.
Now for the entitlement. We are entitled to get what we payed for. We didn't pay for The Taken King so we don't get it, but that doesn't mean that Bungie should become lazy and restrict us from choosing which gamemode we want in crucible. We shouldn't be restricted from choosing the difficulty of missions or strikes. Bungie RESTRICTED us from TRIALS OF OSIRIS, NIGHTFALLS, to choose what crucible mode we wanted to play which is what we PAYED FOR. You know that control , and salvage, and clash, and all the other modes before The Taken King were what we PAYED FOR. We cannot choose them. We are not entitled to The Taken King; We are entitled to all the content that used to not be The Taken King.
Now you are going to argue that The Taken King is a new game. That is completely not true. If you are are going to be called a new game it needs to be held to that exact standard. If it is a new game it needs to not be labeled a dlc by the xbox live/psn marketplace. It needs to get off the first game and have its own game, its own levels, and completely different multiplayer or else it is by definition NOT a new game.
And now you just called me a whiner. WOW you finally figured out that your side can't be held up. Get with the rest of them.
My problem with this whole scenario is this:
1. I ( and 100,000 other people) have paid £45 for the game then £40 for the TDB plus HOW and now bungie offer me all the above PLUS TTK for a price of just £46.99 which is brilliant for people who don't have any of the above
2. If I want to buy TTK stand alone expansion then I'm expected by bungie to pay £39.99 whilst people across the pond in America only have to pay $39.99 which equates to around £26.66??????????
So find my self asking why? There shouldn't be any import tax as its digital so do I get something extra for my £13.34 which I might add is almost 75% of the cost of HOW!!!
Please bungie give us some answers and stop just sitting there like a fly on the wall
Does the next CoD remove parts of your DLC from the previous one and set your MP to two options Team or FFA with random maps and gamemodes with some gamemodes removed?
