I love doing strikes with my Hunter buddy because he generates CRAP loads of orbs. Perhaps better/more efficient than any other subclass. Hunters like OP need to grow up. Expand your mind. Every character has a support role they can play now if they so choose and I think that's awesome. Psst. Hey OP! [b][i][u]Nightstalker is not the subclass for you.[/u][/i][/b] Edit: In hindsight, Nightstalker should have been the class that went alongside bladedancer. That way every character had a damage super and support super. Some Hunters, like OP, see the new subclasses and think it's unfair because they were due a support subclass.. and Bungie gave it to em. (Just not at the best time.)

Nighstalker is good and funny: two Grenades, powered Radar with treasure/resource display, locking enemy (prevent hiding) and a good very long range crowds incapacitate&kill Super. Needs more? In my opinion is the best hunter subclass by far. I'm used to be a Bladedancer with my main character but with TTK (and partially in HOW too) there is no profit using it: a risky close combat Super and bests Grenades was nerfed in a game that now is spawning crowds of mob filled with teleporting yellow bar (usually with Arcblade i can kill only a yellow bar mob if he don't kill me before). And virtually infinite Better Arcblade for everyone (swords with a pool of 56 hit?!? LOL!).

Youre a support character.. If you want to kill and be in the front line then be a Titan or a warlock.. I think you picked the wrong subclass if you want to be a hunter..

It's not mention to be a attack based it's mentioned to be a support based u trap em and blind and allies will finish off that's the night stalker

I always thought it was a support class similar to a defender titan. Or am I wrong here ???? Lets face it gg is good in pve and pvp, bladedancer isnt much of a pve subclass other then going invisible. [spoiler]no one is forcing you to use it as well. [/spoiler]

3 RepliesEdited by Gaddai: 9/23/2015 4:34:49 AMAs someone who plays nightstalker, I think the super in PVP kneels some getting used to, but the ability to shut down any other supers is pretty damn cool. It is not an easy AOE panic super like Panic fist or nova bomb, but under the right use you can tether a crap load of opponents and it stays there if more people run into that area. Like the defender bubble, there is an opportunity to do some major damage. Also, nightstalker has the best perks in the neutral game (that 90% of time when supers are not active). You could track enemies and in one on one situations you predict your opponent movement even when he's out of sight. You get more precise read on enemy position on your radar. Lastly, with shade step you can go third person and gain a wider field of view. Oh and did I also mention you get a super fast sprint speed? So yeah, super is questionable but with potential. Neutral game it has the best perks bar none.

1 ReplyNot even CLOSE. With Golden Gun + Aclyophage, I can kill one, [i]maybe[/i] two majors. With Shadowshot + Bloodbound, I can link a group of approximately 50,000 majors. When I kill one, boom. All of them are dead. Orbs are raining all over my fireteam. I am the hero Gotham deserves. I am a Gunslinger main, and I [i]love[/i] Shadowshot.

Some people need to understand that nightstalker is a support class, not a mass dps class. Asking for a nightstalker buff would be the same as asking for a defender buff "our bubble shields don't kill enough enemies, we need a buff!" Nightstalker already does more damage than defender, the previous support class. And besides, we're not meant to go around firing one-shot-kill flaming arrows. We slow and disorientate enemies, spawn mass orbs, point out chests and nodes, provide territorial control, throw smoke invisibility bombs, and even do badass evasive rolls (which make you a ninja when combined with sword and smoke bomb). We are the weakest class, but that is because we are the best ninja-rolling-sword-wielding-invisible space ninjas you will ever see.

Yeah, hunters already have two insta-kill supers, while Titans and Warlocks have had one support and one insta-kill subclass from the start. It's finally evened out. Try adapting to a support playstyle, or don't use it, or QQ over it., just stop whining over it.
