About infusion:
I believe you can only infuse TTK guns unfortunately, requires 3 marks some armour and glimmer but it has to be a higher ATTACK or defends stat (to get that stat on the gun you're infusing).
Why wouldn't you just use the gun your infusing?
Answer: 98% of the time just use the gun you're infusing even if it's a blue
UNLESS you get a gun or armour you really love.

ALSO: I haven't it used much at all. Only for my helmet. Use blues to infuse and dismantle crappy legendaries for the Marks.
Edit 2: got the awesome helmet from the nightfall. RNG bless, but you can get it from farming the strike
Edit three: THIS IS HUGE. The higher your light the higher your engrams light will generally be. I got a 296 blue helm that I infused with my Titan helmet! So get your light up and grind engrams

4 RepliesHow does infusion works? For example: I have a 280 legendary weapon I want to upgrade. I also have a 290 blue shitgun. If I infuse the shitgun into my legendary, will it have 290 or less? the difference is 10, so do we gain 100% of the difference or only maybe 80%?

Do not infuse any weapons just to raise your light (unless you like the perks). Due to the cost of infusing you can waste tons of resources.

2 RepliesI infused one armor just to see how it works. At a low light lvl there is no point honestly to infuse. Just use the higher gear. Now maybe when we get end game gear it'll be a different story.

1 Reply286 first day but with minimal play time. I found regular strikes until you can do heroic strikes. This got me leveled up really fast. Hope that helps!

3 RepliesI think in order to get the highest light level, you have to infuse something twice, right? So say I have a 265 pvp piece and want to get it to max stat for Iron Banner. I'm assuming that'll be 300 (raid gear). I think I've been noticing that it takes 2 pieces to do that? Like if I were to infuse it with raid armor (300) it would become 298, then I'd have to do it one more time to get it to 300, is that correct?
