1 ReplyThe only people getting ripped off are the people who invested $100 in Vanilla with tDB and HOW, but didn't spend the extra $40 for ttk. TTK is better then Vanilla by itself and really improved basically all aspects of the game. Also, because you choose not to join you no longer get to play most of the game. In other words you're ripping yourself off by not continuing the path.

I have the money. It's not some crazy amount, and by the end of the day, I was entertained. That's what I pad for. Entertainment .

4 RepliesI had to sign up just to post this. Destiny is a rip off. It is a subscription based game but much worse. They erase previously purchased content every new year forcing you to buy the newest version or be left with some unplayable bs version of it with most content that you PAID for gone. In the series end, all Destiny players will be left with is the end year content all while having paid hundreds. Do you still think its not a rip off?
-
1 ReplyThe game has drastically improved.. Maybe if you wanted vanilla destiny over what it is now, the game was never intended for you
-
About what?
being retarded?
-
You bought the original game, and looking back that was a rip off. This new content is bigger and better than the original and its two dlc's. If you want to feel smug about getting ripped off that's your choice, but I think most will see you as a fool.
-
Have you watched anything about taken king? It's really good
-
8 RepliesI played 14 hours straight yesterday and didn't even scratch the surface of the new quests and missions. I think we need to stop saying destiny doesn't have content anymore.
-
Considering it's leagues better than year one, I'd say there's nothing for you to be smug about. We finally have a game worthy of the Bungie name (with the exception of locking some features away from non dlc-buyers, which is still just not cricket), so it really is the buyers who should be feeling smug, but we're not - we're too busy enjoying an awesome gaming experience.
-
Pfft, nothing more annoying than misplaced smugness. What you should be feeling is a sense of sheer stupidity for making this post
-
1 ReplyIt's not even close to a rip off. There's so much content it's almost overwhelming.
-
I don't feel ripped off at all there's so many quests I have at one time and only can track 4 I'm actually feeling a bit overwhelmed, don't know where to start haha. Like some people have said, I'm having more fun with this than the past 2 DLC's and base game combined
-
1 ReplyI don't think its a rip off. I've been having more fun in this dlc than the past 2 dlc's put together.
-
Lol this one is actually very much worth the money soooo much new content and I've only scratched the surface.
-
7 RepliesMe. Mostly enjoying my new badass PC and huge game library.
-
I'll give it about two more weeks before OP quietly caves and buys TTK
-
The raid itself is worth 20 dollars. That's not including the countless hours of other content that's available
-
Didn't get ripped off.. I had the most fun I've ever had in this game
-
Ttk was not a rip off.

5 RepliesLol ripped off? The content was well worth it. Have fun being locked out of everything.
-
i absolutely hated the previous expansions and the $40 price of TTK, but it was really fun and has quite a few lengthy side quests and i would honestly recommend it you have the money.
-
Lol I have school anyway
