Other accounts cant access taken king on console that it was bought in
I bought taken king but my brothers account cant acess the content why bungie

2 RepliesSince i am currently living out of the US (and my account is American) i have to buy all my DLC with another local account due to region and coin issues. Never had a problem in the past. Now that i find out that only that secondary account i use to purchase would have been the only one to access TTK i am relieved to not have wasted my money on content i would have been excluded from.

5 RepliesHey guys. Iok. We have just bought another PS4 as I wanted to play this game with my son. He has been able to play on my original ps even though I bought the expansions. He has access to all the game but never got the sparrow from TDB. I installed the digital collectors edition on the new ps4 under my account as he does not have pan plus. He can access all the game including the new taken king and got all the exotic stuff from TTK but only on the original ps4 not the new one. It keeps telling him he needs to purchase it. But he doesn't as he has it already. So we can play but I have to mow use the new os4 and he has to use the old one. No problem there but hopefull this info will clarify you do actually only need to purchase it on one account.

Same problem here. One word greed... Sad that we can't pay a fee and play our game like its supposed to be. I'll not be playing again until they change this. I hope others will do the same.

4 RepliesThis is a really big problem. We have the full Destiny + Expansion 1 on one account and then Expansion 2 on another account. All accounts on the PS4 can play Destiny and both expansions. This is simply how things have worked thus far. All that matters is that it's installed on the same PS4. My son is DYING for TTK and is really upset that he can't get it (he has Asperger's). Even if it was restricted to a single profile, I'm sure it would be the one with the full Destiny (my account) and not the one with the 2nd expansion (his account). That means he would lose his many, many, MANY hours in the game. Bungie, that's a really crappy way to treat such a loyal fan. We WANT to give you money for this game. You deserve the $40 and whatever profits you get from it. But you have to let us actually use the thing the way we need to (and should be able to). It's going to absolutely [u]crush[/u] my son if he's unable to get TTK. I'm not willing to let him give you his money until we have assurance that he will be able to play it with his account.

Going with cheaper option (£40) I expected to be able to play via game-share as we use the same console but Ohhhh noooo Bungie was not going to allow that. If this is not fixed and I'm forced to pay £80 to play this game (£120), I am going to go apeshit. Having said that I don't understand why TTK doesn't appear under add-ons in PS4 library and why I received the veterans vip rewards despite not actually being able to play the game itself.

When you make it so that the first two dlc were able to be shared through the owner to the sub accounts. Thus leaves people thinking that the taken king will be the same way but no bungie decides to go against the license sharing set up by Microsoft for what? a quick cash grab this sickens me and to feel betrayed by a company I supported for a long time is just indescribable.

4 RepliesThis is unacceptable. This has literally made me sick to my stomach. We only needed to buy Dark Below and House of Wolves once. Why then am I expected to buy Taken King multiple times in this instance? I'm no expert on marketing, but I expect you'll lose a lot of love for this. Fix it. Don't expect people to just throw their money at the screen. Make the Taken King a standalone purchase and playable even if the game and dlc were bought on different accounts.

23 RepliesReally this is truly the biggest load of thievery I've ever come across. This is something that should have been stated clearly before. Now my two children can't play Destiny. How sad Bungie one would have thought you were making more than enough money. Greed greed greed. Shame on you!!!! If this is not sorted out I'm sure we will be asking PS for our money back. Thieves!!!!!!!

5 RepliesI got it to work on my PS4 by rebuilding database then restoring licenses on the profile that has the TTK expansion. After that I could play it on all profiles.
