To all against Nolan North
He is a human being and all you guys do is bash him repeatedly calling him gay like he doesn't have feelings. I'm surprised to see the amount of public support cyber bullying has in this forum. It is truly despicable behavior and I am SO disappointed in the Destiny community. You were not satisfied insulting each other's weapons, subclasses and, tactics, as well as stats. NO. Now you have the nerve to insult someone who is working hard and doing his best to give you a good game. Desmond Miles and Nathan Drake... That is Nolan North he has created them from the script to life... It is disturbing to see your animosity toward such an amazing actor. Whether he is gay or not doesn't matter he deserves respect. There is no excuse for this level of rampant cyber bullying. Now I hope this thread trends because North not only deserves respect, he deserves someone in his corner. If you agree please help this post to trend. If you don't... I'm disgusted with the idea of being the same species as you.

1 ReplyHe is a professional who is putting his performance into a video game used by millions of paying customers, who are entitled to voice an opinion and have an open forum on which to do so. North's performance is as dull and uninspired as it gets, if he can't take criticism, he needs to find another career path because it comes with the territory. Using the term "gay" as an insult is out of bounds and I agree with you on that.

It isn't north's fault for the crappy scripting. The guy is great! Desmond! I personally like him as the ghost. He sounds small and knowledgeable, like a ghost should be.

Comments about him sounding 'gay' are stupid and unfounded The fact that ghosts can die shows that they are at least partially organic This whole No-no bot hate just shows that people are asholes. Also it's interesting how very few people have talked about it possibly being the scripting and/or direction that's the problem BTW, totally agree with OG post.

2 RepliesAs much crap as he got, Dinklebot is my preferred of the two. Assassins Creed was what brought me to 360, so I have nothing but respect for North, but Dinklebot fit the role better; we're going on a jaunt in post/currently apocalyptic space, and my Ghost sounds like a cartoon character. Cue all the radicals that'll say I don't like North because he's gay (found that out just now), but he doesn't bring the seriousness to the role that Dinklebot did. YouTube video was what sold me, look up Nolan North vs. Peter Dinklage.

5 RepliesPeople don't like Nolan Droid, and didn't like dinklebot, because of the script. The script is the one thing that hasn't changed. Now, people's preferences are all different. I liked Dinklages voice for ghost. His lines were shit. I don't like nolans voice, and his lines are the exact same shit. People are entitled to their opinion, and the way they wish to express them. 3 RepliesThe problem with North is bungie had the opportunity to get exactly what they wanted, when they wanted it and they chose to make him sound like a prepubescent eunuch that's been huffing on unicorn farts. Out of everything Nolan can do they went with [i]that[/i]. Knock down the voice and octave or two and it might be good. In actual fact I might try that and see!
