Am I the only one who find this a little -blam!-ed up? Lol.
Edit: Just to be clear I wasn't offended in the slightest. Just thought it was a funny coincidence but now I can see how sensitive a lot of you really are lol.
Kudos to the people who also have a sense of humor. Have a good day everybody.

11 RepliesWhy does everyone in this country always need to be find something arbitrary to be offended by? America, land of the free, home of the easily offended crybabies.

1 ReplyIt's a Friday. Just like they released trials on Fridays. The fact that it's 9/11 is just a coincidence. Just a Friday.

You realize how many people are too young to be truly affected by that date. That was the "defining moment" of my generation in North America, but for many it pales in comparison to day to day life.

7 RepliesYo Americans, we get it 9/11 was bad. What's also bad is that there are people dying of thirst, hunger, disease, natural disasters (oh and wars that you started.) If you are seriously that up in arms that the world must be made right, then get off this forum and do something to help those in need. 9/11 was bad but there's a whole world of pain out there. Life's great until you remember capitalism is a vampire bleeding us and the world dry. So moaning about 9/11 on the bungies forums does seem pretty pathetic in the grand scheme of things. First world problems much. Perhaps I should now make a post about 7/7 and how I'm bringing that into a conversation regarding a sci-fi videogame. And yes I'm well aware of the great irony of my own post.

2 RepliesNo... I don't find it screwed up. 9/11 isn't a holiday and it isn't a day where all businesses shut down to mourn. In fact, if you thought that Bungie releasing Mayhem was screwed up, here is a few other gaming related products that got released today. Nintendo released Super Mario Maker and their wave 5 Amiibo's at midnight. So no, I don't find it screwed up. Am I saddened by 9/11? Of course. It was an event that changed the way we traveled from one place to another.

5 RepliesAll video game companies should make sure to check ALL days where a tragic event happened in human history. Then, they can plan out when they release game features or updates. This way, no one will ever have a reason to be insulted! Until people start complaining that Elimination was released during the month that the Holocaust started, or something like that. /logic

Yeah my buddy said it and I have him some shit for it. Seems shortsighted and like one person at bungie should have been like "hey maybe this isn't the best day for that!" But it really doesn't matter. Hopefully no one was offended.
