Path of the void walker quest needs adjusted and intellect stat
This is crazy. In 1 strike make 7 orbs from a nova bomb 3 times.
All well and good in a fire team of 3 where your friends let you coral and do a big nova bomb
Unfortunately when placed in match making groups everyone is running and gunning everything in site so you can never gather enough enemies together. Added to the fact that enemies generate less orbs makes it even harder to get 7.
Then the super is so slow to build with the new system. At tier 0 5 min. I dumped all gear into intellect to reach tier 4. Now it's 4:36 seconds what the heck. No other stat has a boost and I only trim less then half a second off my super. Why even bother with intellect the gains of high str and disc are much more noticeable.

Go to the nightfall and kill majors until you get all 3 then invite people or solo it.

I know how you feel it didnt make sense when your match making! What i did was i kept going into omnigul and when it pair me up i kept going back to orbit until i was put in by myself! Omnigul strike makes the most orb if your trying to complete it! I did it on my titan and hunter! Dont have a warlock so i couldnt tell u anything else!

2 RepliesWeekly Strike- Omnigul Using Bad JuJu you can get your super up REAL QUICK. In the first room you have a major vandal on the back wall with two or three other vandals. 4 orbs for major and 2 orbs for other vandals. Directly to the right is another major vandal with regular vandals. Then you've got the major reaver next to the steps on the right who you can bait next to other ads. Then you've got the non stop thrall that run out the door which you can let them get real close and bomb the shit out of them. Then you've got the drop ships in the next area along with other vandals and ads that group together. Then in the last room you can horde together groups of ads when she screams and summons enemies. Do the strike on level 26. There are plenty of chances to do this part of the quest.. Just because it isn't easy isn't a reason to complain.

4 RepliesJust start up omnigul strike and sparrow to the underground with the 3 major hives. Thats how i did it, super easy.

1 ReplySeriously? Go to the Undying Mind Strike. You can make close to 75 total orbs in one run. I had the 3 sets of 7 before we started the final boss.

Bungie wants you to have the impression you are advancing with new class items that reduces your cooldown when in fact these items just bring back the old cooldown. This game is becoming more and more a chore.

By the way they nerfed orbs because they have more things that produce orbs or chance of orb, they literally nerfed it to shit so their new weapons and gear seem relevant when it is a net gain of ZERO. Which makes new stuff redundant. Excellent stuff, Bungie! We are throwing money at the screen! Bahahaha

This quest is so cancerous. Everyone is racing in the strike to make orbs. I was odd man out in omnigal with a fire team of 2 they grabbed my kills and left me dead when I went down so they could farm the orbs it's BS bungie.

5 RepliesEdited by Killlerschaf: 9/9/2015 10:00:06 PMA yellow bar enemy gives 4 orbs. If you struggle with Killing small stuff, try to use 2 yellow bar enemies (like in the Undying Mind Strike). Most of them won't die from a nova bomb alone, if it's endgame content though. Edit: Wait, they changed the Orb mechanics??? I've read the patch notes like 3 times, and the only thing I saw concerning Orbs was a nerf to "spawn more orbs" perks, maxing that at 8, and thr Bladedancer maxing out at 6. What did they change? I only played PvP since the update, as they basically destroyed my favourite weapons for PvE content with that patch.

Just do this weeks nightfall for that step - its perfect: many majors, void burn and easy to solo

I'm glad others are having as much trouble as I am I've been debating a solo nightfall again to try for orbs. I've tried Devils lair and only averaged 3 orbs and the heroic didn't work out either

I would say do undying mind but you are on xbox. Your best bet is omnigul for the moment.

3 RepliesGo into Omnigul, get the obsidian mind, get 8 orbs every time a thrall wave spawns in the first room where you encounter fallen and hive. Actually, the whole Omnigul strike is perfect to generate orbs. If not, you can do the strike with Sepiks prime. Lots of Orb material. Alternatively the Undying mind strike also offers a very Easy way to get orbs.

Anyone notice the spelling error in the one quest description? Lol. Does Bungie even have QC? I don't mind challenging objectives, but these "quests" are nothing more then pathetic miscellaneous tasks with no story. Either way, just get with some friends and boost

2 RepliesI think undying mind would be your best bet but you're right you'll probably need a fireteam. I barely got my gunslinger one done because I was directly competing with the randoms.

Sunsinger is so easy in comparison. 25 kills while in radiance in 1 strike. Just chuck grenades around. You don't need the enemy gathered up not forced to make 7 orbs in one radiance. You can pop as many as you need for 25 kills. Doing it twice would still be hard but 3 times is ludacris. Unless you lower to maybe 5 orbs a blast

This is the most ridiculous and most unachievable thing I've seen in Destiny. It's easier to get flawless raider than this.
