I am here to express my rage [XB1] Downloading issues
Console: Xbox One
Issues In Detail: Download Stuck at 10%. I have 80/90 internet the update is taking forever. It keeps saying installation failed, queued, or some error code.
If anyone else reads this please feel free to continue this topic and express your rage.
PSA: Share you rage here and Remember to keep your console wired for 1-2% per min.
Edit 1: @Bungie Please get better servers next time
Edit 2: @Bungie Let us [b]pre-load[/b] this update the night before.
Edit 3: If anyone knows a way to reply from the bungie app instead of running to my mac everytime someone posts a message please post here.

20 RepliesHello, All. A few potential fixes are as follows: 1. Utilize a wired connection when downloading 2. Ensure the Destiny game application is closed 3. If stuck with an incredibly slow download, or a looping "Pending" notification - Pause your download for 5-10 minutes, and re-initiate.

Heres an idea why dont you take your broken update 2.0 and shove it... then when your actually ready to shit it on us give us freakn light sabers instead of swords. Why? Because we deserve something epic for putting up with this bs.

2 RepliesI finished my Xbox One ver. 2.0 patch earlier after over 24 hours worth of pauses and now when i boot up the game, it says it cant read the content and i tried several times hard resetting my console. So now i'm left with an unplayable game altogether. Bungie i need answers especially when you have no actual customer service reps that anyone can talk to.

While I watched Netflix. Never the less a very frustrating experience...good luck to the people still having troubles. I haven't had a download take that long since the playstation move update for Christ sakes!

Mine was stuck on 52% for about 2 hours, and I tried multiple times to reset the DNS, clear the cache, clear the Mac address, set a hard wired connection, and nothing worked. Turned it off walked away and it downloaded in like 30min (about the time it took me to leave and come back.)

6 Replies--potential fix for slow downloads-- I was stuck at 52% for about 20-25 minutes, which was super frustrating so I ended up turning off my Xbox one completely. But then my impatience got the best of me and I turned it right back on, when I opened destiny and signed back into my account I realized it had jumped up 2% to 54%. So I waited a couple more minutes and nothing happened, so my curiosity peeked and I tried turning my Xbox one off again (by holding the middle button on thee controller and turning it on the same way) and guess what, another 1% increase. So being the inquisitive guy I am I tried it again, and it worked another 1%, then I tried it again and it worked another 1%, and again another 1%. So here I am typing this out and it's worked every time so far. I'm at 65% now and it's been about 12 or so minutes since I started this method. I keep trying it and expecting for it to not work but every time it's worked. I'm getting around 1 minute per 1% maybe a little less than a minute. Definitely beats the hours I've read people have waited to get just 3% Not begging for bumps but please pass this on if it works for you, I hope to be slaying with all of you guardians in the near future.

15 RepliesBest thing to do is on your system do a test Internet. It will reset the server and pick up speed. That's basically what I did and it worked out well. Might have to do it periodically. GL

Was stuck at 17%. Walked away for five hours. Came back to the Xbox being completely turned off. Turned it back on. Now I'm stuck at a solid 74%. Won't budge at all.
