From what I've been told either plugging in straight ethernet to your xbox should make it quicker also of you have a ps4 put it in sleep mode, Fear not! It's not your connection! Millions are trying to download at once.
Everyone you may need to just let it do its thing my recommendation is to restart your xbox pause and unpause it.
Swapping the Ip settings seemed to help me go way quicker.

7 RepliesPause and resume your download. It will attempt to connect to a less crowded server. I did this and it went from 47 hrs to 3 hrs. Lol.

Yup. Just pause and then start it up again. Mine went from 3hrs left to 20min left

10 RepliesI have a PS4 and my download was stuck at 50% with 10 hours remaining. I went to network settings and kept everything automatic except for the DNS settings. I put 8.8.8.8 for primary and 8.8.4.4 for secondary. Now my download is blazing at 14/17GB with 27 minutes left!! Try this PRO-TIP

2 RepliesI know for a fact is not my connection as soon as I start of the update it went from 1% to 30% within the matter of maybe 10 minutes my bandwidth is directly connected to my house I have Google Fiber so the bandwidth I'm not sharing with my entire neighborhood it is directly to my house I am currently downloading at over 200 megabytes per second

My download just finished after 7 and a half hours

For anyone on ps4, try pausing your download and then resuming it after a few seconds. I did this and my download went from 71 hours to 34 minutes. Bullshit aside.
