So last night my son (10 years old) was playing Destiny to complete his last objective on the Moments of Triumph. He was playing with 2 people he found on LFG. He had spend 3 hours playing with them and was one or two Gjallahorn shots from beating the final level when the two players from LFG said "Hey kid, you know whats funny?" and they kicked him from the fireteam. He was destroyed. He loves Destiny and mowed lawns all summer to pre-pay for the Taken King. If there happens to be anyone with a heart, a few hours for PoE 35, and a PS4, please reply to this. I wish there was more I could do for him, but maybe this will help.

The same thing has happened to my 10 year old son on xbox 360 with crota its total bs but im getting him an xb1 for xmas and he can play with me and my friends

I am an older gamer and some kids did this to me a few months ago. We were actually at Skolas when they decided to kick me from the group. They had another friend join the party shortly before I was booted. I honestly think these kids would of done the same to me if we had beat Skolas. It sucks to be booted like that but that is what happens when you have to rely on LFG. My thoughts are to avoid POE groups where the two other players are friends. I know not all groups are like this but the risk are higher when you play with a group of two friends. I hope your son is able to get it done. Grind on Guardians!

I hear you. I remember my son playing halo at that age with his little squeaker voice. He used to get that crap too. He's 17 now and real good at destiny. Destiny is a very sociable game. there's a lot of immature kids out there and that get off on that and it's not cool at all!

I get back from school at 4:00pm I can help then psn account is War_machine830 and I'm on ps4
-
I'll help. I need to finish it too.
-
I would help. Problem is, I don't have a lot of time to play this week.
-
As much of a dick move as that is, I wouldn't want to play with a 10 year old either. The difference is I wouldn't even start playing a 35 PoE with them. Kicking at Skolas is not cool.
-
I would totally do it if I had a PS4
-
Wow. Someone give him a Fate of all Fools.
kek
I don't think the skolas fight is something a ten year old belongs in tbh
-
I would help but I got ps3 and I am still updating destiny

I'll do 35 with the kid I'll PM you

2 RepliesJeez you guys are kinda dicks. For all you know he was just chillin playing and the other two players were the ones being dicks. And it's funny I see people saying the kid wasn't old enough to play anyways but that wasn't the case when some of you played games while you were younger that weren't for you. Cmon seriously who hasn't done that? Sure I don't know if the kid actually annoyed them or not but still, I've played with younger kids that have annoyed me and all I do is mute and continue playing with them. Sure the other two players can do what they want but it doesn't mean what they did was right. Seeing the responses to this post makes me disappointed in most of you.

You could join dads of destiny. There are a lot of us. That play and our kids play with us. We MAKE the environment family friendly. I would suggest joing the clan. Both you and your son and other clan members who are parents and kids are more than happy to help and keep it all PG.

I saw you're on ps4 so can't help but would gladly help them get through it in xbox one.

1 ReplyI see a lot of for and against here. Saying poor parenting is just -blam!-ing rude assholes Now, my ten year old and 13 year play destiny. They arnt allowed in a party w/o me or my wife being in the party also. They won't play with randoms off of lfg. Op u said takes you and a buddy 45 mins to run 35. Why don't u ask your buddy to run with your kid? I also have two ps4s so usually my wife or I play with them. You do gotta be careful and protect your kids but letting them play destiny isn't baby sitting, at least not at my house. My ten years has even ran sword on normal and hard and can run relic in vog. Some kids just excel at video games. So don't hate, and f u loser who kick.

8 RepliesHell, I let my oldest boy (7) play GTA 5. He knows damn well I better not hear him repeating anything that game says. It's not horrible parenting. Even then when I was younger, around his age, I was pwning noobs on Quake. As long as they know not to try any of that shit in the real world, I don't see an issue. #-blam!-thehaters

This is not about age, but about two mean pricks. Report these two names to LFG site and hope they do something.

Sorry I would help but I am on PS3 :(
