2 RepliesWhat was that one Eris mission that you only got to play once with the green flames EVERYWHERE and swords? That was rough.
-
2 RepliesCapturing Skolas was pretty hard the first time through. But the Phogoth strike gave me fits the first time I tried it. Of course I think I was the same level as the strike first time I tried it. (level 11 I think?) I was with 2 other level 10-12 or something like that and we must have wiped about 8 times before we gave up. I went back at like level 16 and it was still rough but we got through it.

1 ReplyThe Warmind mission from TDB. I cringed seeing it as the daily or one of Eris's bounties.
-
Edited by il Kuda: 9/8/2015 5:09:15 PMThe warmind or wakening were pretty rough on my first go through.
-
2 RepliesThe Wakening A Stranger's Call (Did this mission get removed from the Daily table? Because I haven't seen it in ages) Fist of Crota Hard to pick between these three, for me anyway.
-
Solo Restoration mission.
-
4 RepliesOnly one I ever had problems with my first play through was A Stranger's Call, where you first meet the Vex. First and only time I ever got stuck playing the story. Makes you really respect and hate the Vex, though.
-
The first time doing every strike. I was either the same level or 1 over. And same with my teamates. We had no clue what to do with weapons that didn't match the burns. I remember first archon run *shivers* *looks into the distance* so many shanks
-
Probably the warmind. I was wildly unprepared for the witches
-
4 RepliesThe DB mission where you had to stop Crotas soul from being summoned. Twas just before I had a Gally. Weapons of Light and the 000 rocket launcher finally got me thru...after a lot of tries lol.
-
1 ReplySurprisingly the first mission on Venus for me... Under levelled and those minotaurs destroyed me
-
1 ReplyThe wakening. I still avoid it now even as a 34 when its a daily cuz of the bad memories.
-
Yea. That mission kicked my butt a lot when I was two levels below with the heroic modifier.
-
The warming gave me trouble early on. Being lower level was rough.
-
7 RepliesI forget the name but the first Dark Below mission. That Knight at the end with the sword that made a shock wave. And no double jump. I'd get down to red health from the Knight's spam and then die from a random poison cloud.
-
Worst story mission on my first play through was by far A Stranger's Call. I got stuck on that one for a while. The Archive was bad too, but for some reason I skipped that one and came back to it as the last mission before I hit level 20
-
Archive is a good one. The Wakening was pretty hard at level, black garden at level 19 was a challenge
-
The first Eris mission where you kill that mini crota under the 'presence of crota' so you can't double jump. That one gave me fits. Until I just figured out running in a giant circle was all you had to do.
-
2 RepliesJust recently played through House of Wolves. The mission where you go into the Vault of Glass was a bit of a pain for me. I've never done a Raid so I had no idea what was going on with the Oracle things. Was running around trying to destroy them before they insta-killed me, while getting absolutely swarmed by the pain in the ass Fallen. It was a bit of a drama.

Edited by noahc211: 9/8/2015 4:14:57 PMSiphon witches. Took me 4 tries my first run through on hard.
-
Or warnind soloed that took forever
-
Black garden soloed entire story
-
Either the archive, or the TDB siege of the warmind. (The only way I got through that mission the first time was by cheesing it on top of those big door things :)
-
Soloing The Wakening as a top level daily was a pain in the rear.
-
For some reason the ishtar collective gave me a tough time when I first played it.

Edited by Astro4545: 9/8/2015 4:00:12 PMEven though I've soloed all of them I have to say Skolas, the Warmind, and Strangers Call.
