    Mmm I don't think so. I can't counter a GG consistently or any super for that matter because supers are not meant to be countered easily. Some supers are easier to counter than the others and the top 3 are arc blade, GG and FoH. I saw your stats and I can see you die a lot. I am pretty sure many of those deaths were at the hands of a gunslinger or a bladedancer

  • You can do that if the hunter is not shooting at you. This is not hard to understand. GG is very hard to counter because in a gunfight you will lose 99.99999% of the time. No weapon has a chance against GG.

  • yes but how many times do you pop GG and your facing more than one person. and if any of those are using thorn u cant pop out again because by the time you regen your health back ur super is gone.

  • No. GG kills so fast. It's one bullet and on to the next target, so a gunslinger should have time to make 3 kills, unless EVERYBODY (3+ people) is shooting at him, which doesn't really happen often.

  • explain to me how you would know how GG in crucible works if youve never played a single game on your hunter. its not as easy as you say it is. yes it has insane auto aim. yes it is ohk. no it is not easy to use. if nobody used exotic hand cannons GG would be really strong. but anybody can land a thorn shot before you can kill them. people can obviously see that there teammate got killed by GG so there gonna camp that corner. you have 2 choices. regen health and loose half your super bar. or go out where you dont know where anyone is and get lit up by tlw or another thorn. GG is not as strong as it used to be because. its auto aim got nerfed. im fine with that. damage reduction nerfed from 35% to 25%. okay 35 was a little to hard to counter play. now at this patch GG is not OP and not underpowered. it was strong in pve because you could pop it and go revive a friend and then shoot 3 shots. but then bungie left GG where its at now and stealth nerfed it to 0% bonus damage reduction. and just to make it worse hand cannon meta. instead of auto rifle Vs GG where GG user may loose 25% of health which the GG user could move on and kill more people. instead we have now thorn meta where GG can win the 1v1 but loose 50% of health and then be sitting there because of DoT by the time it is safe to go out again your super is over halfway gone. Really pathetic of bungie to stealth nerf a class (which how often do classes get rebalanced??) just so the forum wouldnt blow up. either make GG last longer or give Gg 25% damage reduction. theres no reason for GG to be the only super without damage reduction on use or during use. also dont get me started how strikers get there super back if they fail.

  • They had to nerf it because offensively it is ridiculously OP. They HAD to nerf its defense. No, I don't use hunter, but that doesn't mean I don't know how powerful they are and the advantages they have over the other classes. Most people use them, so I see them in every match. I see them get multiple kills with their supers every time. I have been killed by their supers many times. I KNOW and understand their power because I have been a victim and I have witnessed when my teammates have been victims. It's so hard to win a gunfight with GG that when I know there is one activated, I just go. I don't even try. Yes, anybody can land a thorn shot before you get shot by GG. Thing is, you will die after that shot, and the gunslinger doesn't really need to take cover because he can kill other players pretty fast, and what makes you think that the thorn player you are talking about will always fire the first shot? You are talking about a very specific situation. By that logic, any super is easy to counter. You are acting like every time GG is killing people everybody will react accordingly, everybody will focus on the gunslinger, an everybody will have the first shot and everybody will have a thorn equipped when all this is happening. This is too specific and rarely happens like this. A vet gunslinger is not going to activate the super if he knows he will be under heavy fire. What makes it powerful is that it can be activated AND used from a distance. If you know how and when to use it, you should be safe from taking a lot of damage and you should get 3 kills almost every time.

  • Are you kidding me fist of panic is literally number one on the list of hardest supers to counter. And most of my deaths are from shotguns, thorns and last words not golden gun or bladedancer. Supers are easy to dodge.

    I said it is one of the three hardest to counter. I didn't say most deaths come from supers. I said many. Knowing that you die a lot makes it hard to believe that you have no problem countering two of the three hardest supers to counter. "Supers are easy to doge" lmao even though they are meant to be the opposite!

  • quite the opposite they are, along with FoH the toughest ones to counter. stats say that most kills in pvp com from hunter supers. if they were easy to counter they would be at the bottom of the list. hunters are the most OP class. there is a reason most people use them.

  • or people use them because there supers arent click 2 buttons and win. GG and blade dancer are fun and challenging to use because you can actually fail with them

    You can fail with the others too. It's easier to get multiple kills with hunter supers because they are actually PvP supers. Nova bomb and FoH are AoE supers, which is not very useful in PvP. Even when you play control these supers are not that effective most of the time. TTK will give titans and warlocks PvP supers.
